The 6.85% drop is a bit off of Avatar's 1.83% Tuesday drop, which does adjust our previous calculations for the rest of the week based on Avatar's dailies. The results, should Star Wars follow Avatar's first week daily drops and increases would now look like this:
- Monday: $40.1 M (33.76% drop) / $288.1 M (actual)
- Tuesday: $37.4 M (6.85% drop) / $325.4 M (actual)

I really liked seeing the alien and female X-Wing pilots. There were several of them filmed for the ROTJ space battle but they all got cut so it was nice to seem them on the big screen.

Yeah they were so badass when ****ing their pants because six TIE Fighters showed up to attack 30 Rebel ships. Or just randomly crashing out of shear obesity.

I could see Poe portrayed as a gay character
Fin doesn't seem to be a likely gay character -- they've kinda turned him into a blundering idiot savant with a heart
I wouldn't care who's gay or which ethnicity- but they covered all their bases when it comes to quality story telling. All the new cast are amazing actors

Jokes on you, man. I grew up in the 80's and 90's. Action heroes were all big, strong, manly guys running around shirtless with their perfectly sculpted muscles all glossy while shooting their huge machine guns and wielding their big swords.....nothing gay about any of that.

Anyway. here's the deal. It has been said that the reason OT was so popular was there were a slew of kids looking for a hero. There father turned out the be failures or skip out on them, the government had turned south, the economy was tanking....and along came this wonderful escapist movie for kids to glorify in a world where there was nothing REAL to follow.
I really think JJ is working on those themes... He is making a comment on absent fathers and role models who turn out the be failure and what can happen to the kids left behind. This story will show the "heroes" we all worship from OT to be flawed and cause great damage to the young around them, due to their personal demons.
1. Han was a stuck up, cheating , lying, self centered gambler....result Kylo.
2. Leia was a woman more concerned with her career than her child...result Kylo.
3. Uncle Luke , was totally screwed up from his past....result Kylo.
The only one that seems to be turning out OK was the one left the fend for herself.
Even Finn, got disillusioned with the military promise of glory.
In the end it will be a redemption story about how the younger characters deal with this reality. As many children of the 70-80's had to deal with it. Hes hoping this will ring true for the age demographic with the money right now...the original children who witnessed OT.
He is throwing in some things to entice a new generation , as well as new demographics, which is painfully obvious, but not necessarily bad.
