Getting back to TFA and I just noticed that the local AMC's in my area still didn't drop it when the week renewed today. In fact it still is getting four showings a day. Pretty cool to see it hanging on in first run theaters for a fourth straight calendar month. That's basically unheard of in this "flash in the pan" era of movie blockbusters.

VALLETTA, March 4 (Reuters) - Tony Dyson, a special effects expert who built the Star Wars R2D2 robot, has been found dead in a house he owned on the Maltese island of Gozo, officials said on Friday.

The body of the 68-year-old Briton was discovered after friends alerted police that they had not seen him for a number of days, the Times of Malta reported. There was no immediate suspicion of foul play, the paper said.

Dyson's website said he was commissioned to build eight different versions of the round-domed R2D2 for the Star Wars film. "I can honestly say it was one of the most exciting periods of my life," he said.

The website said he had also built robots for various technology firms, including Sony, Philips and Toshiba.


Maybe it'll boost some Blu-ray sales, eh?

Best part all these places are same priced except at $24.99 except BB steel book is $29.99

Daisy said that Abrams asked her to hit the gym for months before TFA shooting began so she'd really look like she'd been free solo climbing (with and without ropes) and carrying scavenged parts on her back for years. In the movie you can see that she's actually got some decent muscle on her arms when she's climbing down into that one compartment in Starkiller Base.

Kind of funny that she actually managed to make herself buffer than, oh I don't know, WONDER WOMAN.

Walmart has BB-8 exclusive packaging and Target has packaging with the characters on the cover plus additional bonus content. I have a feeling the Best Buy price will go down, I think eventually everyone will be selling this for $19.99.

Yeah they could have done Rey and Finn on the back or a group shot, Kylo, Phasma, trooper, Han, Leia, Chewy, Maz, Poe , Finn, Rey etc
