Getting back to TFA and I just noticed that the local AMC's in my area still didn't drop it when the week renewed today. In fact it still is getting four showings a day. Pretty cool to see it hanging on in first run theaters for a fourth straight calendar month. That's basically unheard of in this "flash in the pan" era of movie blockbusters.
The Deadpool from Wolverine: Origins too I bet.
It's still at both my theaters this week as well. Carmike and Cinemark.
BTW...AMC just bought out Carmike.
Really? I thought those were terrible and definitely worse than the TFA options we have now.
The OT DVD's were even worse:
The second release with the unaltered OT included in the special features were a little better:
Zavvi seems to get some nice Steelbooks, but I just can't bring myself to pay so much more for a case.
Good enough.
Main street is Main street afterall.
And you know who owns AMC, right?
Yoda was on one for some weird reason. Dunno why they wouldn't go with Jango Fett or something.

AMC switched over their mascot to little red characters and they even painted my local AMC all red.
There is red everywhere, even in the bathrooms.

"As far as I’m concerned when JJ [Abrams] sat us down to go through the script, it was a bromance, but now I’m learning what Mark Hamill said before when he didn’t know that Darth Vader was Luke’s father: you never know what they’re going to pull."
