I always wondered why none of the heroes were never on the steel book covers

Yoda was on one for some weird reason. Dunno why they wouldn't go with Jango Fett or something.

Getting back to TFA and I just noticed that the local AMC's in my area still didn't drop it when the week renewed today. In fact it still is getting four showings a day. Pretty cool to see it hanging on in first run theaters for a fourth straight calendar month. That's basically unheard of in this "flash in the pan" era of movie blockbusters.

It's still at both my theaters this week as well. Carmike and Cinemark.

BTW...AMC just bought out Carmike.

Really? I thought those were terrible and definitely worse than the TFA options we have now.

The OT DVD's were even worse:

The second release with the unaltered OT included in the special features were a little better:

I'm a big movie poster nut, so I like it when they use theone-sheet or the covers, I really don't like the covers above.

AMC switched over their mascot to little red characters and they even painted my local AMC all red. :lol

There is red everywhere, even in the bathrooms. :lol

They are subliminally easing you into accepting their eventual domination.

Better that you learn to bow to your new masters now, it'll make he transition easier later on.

That middle widescreen set ended up being the OT soundtrack cd covers a long time ago :lol

If you look up the OT soundtracks on iTunes, that's what they use

They changed the complete set art to this now too

Mark Hamill claims luke could be gay depending how you see him...

This doesn't help MARK!!!

You know where there's smoke there's fire and there's just TOO damn much smoke about this gay stuff in Star Wars. EU writers, JJ Abrams, Boyega, Isaacs, and now Hamill just keep bringing it up. I'm not happy about it. I think Disney is gonna take their sexual orientation agenda and ruin the rest of Star Wars. I think what Mark Hamill said about Luke being gay if you want him to be is perfectly fine. He isn't of course but SW, save for Han/Leia and Anakin/Padme, has never been about defining ANYONE'S sexual preferences. You can "pretend" that the whole damn universe save for those four are homosexual if you want. But for God's sake don't spell it out just to push some agenda onto the rest of us.

John Boyega confirms Star Wars gay romance between Poe and Finn rumours | Films | Entertainment | Daily Express

Regarding Poe and Finn John Boyega had this to say regarding TFA:

"As far as I’m concerned when JJ [Abrams] sat us down to go through the script, it was a bromance, but now I’m learning what Mark Hamill said before when he didn’t know that Darth Vader was Luke’s father: you never know what they’re going to pull."

So I'm good with TFA and if they pull any crap with Finn, Poe, or Luke in Episode VIII then I'm out and Star Wars will always be the "Chronicles of Han Solo" as far as I'm concerned. Sounds like he knew right when to check out.

Yes, Finn clearly wasn't gay in TFA. Luke was clearly into Leia in ANH and the beginning of ESB. If they want to have Poe be "ambiguous" then fine. But that's as far as they better go.

The whole Jedi concept being like nuns when it came to love was just wrong :slap

Thank god Anakin broke it and Luke tried with incest with his own sister :lol, no with EU, Luke really broke the code

No more extra blue ray DVD junk in my house, converted it all to Plex servers , got rid of all the discs and all the extra junk that came with them, sold off 2 bookcases they were stored in, and simplified my space considerably.

Much happier without 800 discs laying around.....

So its all digital for me......

They can keep the "lithographs"
