Yup, you got it a-dev. I was thinking "that's your uncle talking" when I typed that. :lol

First Chewie isn't awarded a medal. Now he doesn't get a hug. I agree I thought he should have gone postal and ripped arms out of sockets when Han died.

Looks like we're only ever gonna see that in the comics ...

Leo Dicaprio isn't qualified to lecture me on social justice, Mark Hamill's not qualified to lecture me on who I should vote for, etc. No more than I should be giving them acting lessons.

But could someone teach Mark about landscape mode? You'd think he'd been in movies long enough to get it.

Because Jeepers Creepers is a pretty good horror movie.

One thing I noticed when watching the movie on the plane is that when Han, Rey, Finn, and Chewie exit the Falcon and head down into the hangar of Han's freighter you can see off to the left of the frame two big rings sitting at odd angles with what appeared at first glance to be some junk in between. Could that have actually been an Attack of the Clones "Hailfire Droid" in disrepair? I just googled "Force Awakens Hailfire Droid" and apparently no one has made any mention of that but I'm wondering if a remant from AOTC has actually been sitting in plain site all this time. If true that should certainly please PT lovers. But maybe I'm just guessing wrong and those rings were something else entirely.

I'd read that there were podracer parts on Jakku before my last viewing. I looked and there was certainly some stuff that looked like it. JJ has gone so far to say that there are elements of the PT he likes so I wouldn't be surprised if he threw in a few subtle nods without getting into the story elements.

It pleases me that it's destroyed.

Something interesting that Anne Hathaway said in an interview was that she doesn't think that actors should ever really publicly divulge very much about their real lives so that audience members aren't taken out of any given moment when watching their characters on screen. She said something like "Let's pretend that I'm a vegan and I announce it to the world. Then you see me eating a hamburger in a movie. I want people in the audience to just be in that moment, not wondering if I was spitting the food out after every take or breaking my vegan vows or whatever." I can't say that I disagree with her.

I have zero interest in the actors or their personal lives. So long as they do a good job on-screen, that's where it begins and ends for me. All these talk-show appearances and hamming it up for the camera really turns me off.

Well spotted. Add that to the other subtle PT nods such as Grievous' helmet design and the open/close door sound effect at Starkiller Base (from Amidala's royal starship in TPM). Plus the fact that Phasma's amor is crafted from the shell of Palpatine's Naboo cruiser.

Yes, only carbon copies of OT hardware are permitted. ;)

Good for her for having the self confidence to not need constant attention. A rarity among performers.

Yup.

Unfortunately viewers don't tune into Kimmel for smart people.

I feel really hip that I didn't have to delete "Letterman."

What reference did TFA supposedly make to Grievous' helmet?

Yeah. ****ing Chinatown man. One of the greatest movies of all time, BUT. . .Polanski is a pedophile.

Phil Spector, one of the greatest music producers of all time, and a depraved murderer. Dr. Seuss was a womanizer. The list goes on.
