Maybe she said that because realized the person sitting next to her had no pants on. :dunno

Nah, she followed with "I want to see the end of the movie!" (and yes I know you were kidding) But that actually hasn't been the first time I've been on a flight that was too short to finish the in-flight movie. I'm actually surprised that the airlines do it anyway and worse, actually charge people to listen to a film that is going to cut out mid-climax.

Khev said he was a few seats over. :lol

:lol

First Chewie isn't awarded a medal. Now he doesn't get a hug. I agree I thought he should have gone postal and ripped arms out of sockets when Han died.

Mark, what are you doing!?

- donates to Hilary's campaign
- says "of course Luke is gay"
- now this

Just stop, go to bed!

I think that when Chewie landed Leia should have walked up to him and done this

before heading over to hug Rey to ensure that he'd live with the guilt of Han's death for the rest of his life.

I don't bother seeking out political affiliations or activist convictions of any actors or directors. If I did I know I'd probably be annoyed with pretty much all of them. Since political leanings have no bearing on any given film (unless the film itself is political) I see no point in tainting my perspective of anyone involved.

What? Because he's an actor he isn't allowed to have an opinion? Or is it just because his opinion is different than yours?

No, not at all. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

I just wish he'd be quiet and not get involved is all. :lol

See Khev's post below,

Well, you may not want to know what he thinks, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't have just as much right as you or me to stand on the soapbox. His soapbox just happens to be a lot bigger than ours.

To me, that's not much different than actors posting their thoughts on Twitter or saying something about world hunger at an awards ceremony. I don't care about it, and usually ignore it. Leo Dicaprio isn't qualified to lecture me on social justice, Mark Hamill's not qualified to lecture me on who I should vote for, etc. No more than I should be giving them acting lessons.

I'm sure if any one of us had his ability to reach out to others, that we would use that influence to do some good. You may not agree with him, but you don't have to. Personally Mr. Hamill's opinion is no threat to mine own, as I'm smart enough to make up my own mind.

+1:clap:clap:clap:clap

It's nothing personal to you or anybody else, but I just get tired of people discounting other's opinions based entirely upon what their career is. He doesn't need to be a politician to have a political opinion. That's like saying you can't have an opinion on a movie unless you make films for a living.

Of course, the reasons they do it is understandable. They want to do some good, and it's intermingled with a need to self-promote and feed their ego.
