Then again most of the aliens looked crappy in this.

Getting a lot of use out of this meme all of a sudden. :lol

Funny story: After my mom (late 60's) saw TFA in the theater we spoke on the phone about it and she said it was great and so nice to see the original cast back but she couldn't figure out what they could possibly do in a sequel since "they killed all the bad guys and gave Luke his lightsaber back." She literally thought that Kylo, Hux, Phasma, (even Snoke until I reminded her he was a hologram) all died on Starkiller and then the only loose end at that point was just sending Rey off to return Luke's lightsaber. :lol Kind of a tidy wrap-up when you think about it. The saga kind of began with Luke being given that saber and then things finally came full circle. THE END. :D

Nine times in the theater! Is that usual for a movie you like or did this one really speak to you?

TFA was by far the film I saw the most times in a theater. The previous record was a three way tie between the original Star Wars, Terminator 2, and Fellowship of the Ring (7 times each.) I just couldn't get enough "new OT quality Star Wars" on the big screen. And it was just a quick two hours that always zipped by so I was sure to make the most of it. Plus I wanted to experience it in 35mm, digital 3D Imax, 3D Liemax, etc.

The most I've ever seen a movie in the theater is twice because I know I'll be watching it over and over again on TV or streaming. Maybe when the kids get older I'll have more reasons to go back to the theater for extra screenings.

I saw it twice in the theaters but since it came out last Tuesday I much have watched it four times on my tv, iphone and ipad.

I just don't like any film enough to watch it so many times in quick succession as some of you guys do. Even my favourite films of all time I might not even watch once per year.

This is the only movie I watched more than once in the theater. Think I watched it four times in the theatre and once on Blu Ray. Still want to try once more viewing in the theatre as it's now playing in IMAX near me.

I typically don't watch even my favorite movies all that often, but this one was different. Rogue One I think I'll see at most twice in the theater.

Would you believe I saw ROTJ 30 times in the theater as a kid, I went at least once a week until it was gone.

I'm not exactly proud of it, but hey, I was 12.

Just saw this on youtube.

Yeah he really wants to do the film too. :hi5:

Did anyone think it was funny that when John Boyega auditioned for TFA he had to reaudition so many times as they said in the bonus features. And he was the SW fanboy :lol

Not funny in that in all those auditions they still thought he was the best guy for the job. As I rewatched some scenes a couple of days ago, I was struck at how annoying his character is.

He is a bit annoying, but in an innocent kind of way. I feel like he is going to have a lot of growth in the next episode and will really evolve into a very heroic character. Even though he is annoying at times, I can't help but like him, maybe it's just the chemistry he has with the other cast members.

Kennedy and Abrams fell in love with Ridley and Isaccs from the start though. Poor John, he really had to convince them
