Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I've been calling it crap since 1997.

I've been praying for memory loss since 1999.

Memory loss would make no difference. It'd mean you'd only be able to rediscover the horror as if for the first time. No, ''Skynet needs to wipe out the PT's entire existence!''

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

You know that ****ty movie 50 First Dates?

Imagine that film, but replace The Sixth Sense, with Episode 1.

You'd have to watch your brain damaged loved one go through the horror and terror of watching Episode 1 forever and ever and ever.

That turd is slightly less turdy then the other turds, but that doesn't mean it isn't a turd.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Working title for ESB was Star Wars II until GL rewrote history..........

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Yeah, but at least it was a real movie, shot on film with real locations....

You know, I'll take racist Jar Jar over aspergers Anakin Skywalker.

:lol

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Yeah, I've never bought the whole 'ROTS has the anakin/obi-wan duel and is therefore the best by default' thing.

TPM ftw out of this crap trilogy.

Alot of people say RotS has the most "Star Wars" feel to it. By that I'm guessing they mean because Vader is at the end of it? :dunno

My favorite things are Maul from TPM, Jango and the clones from AotC, and I like the kill order scenes from RotS. I've never felt one movie was stronger, but I literally cannot sit through the first half of TPM. Midiochlorians, Jar jar and whiny little bastards, no thanks.

Yeah, I've said it before and I'll say it again, The Phantom Menace is the best of the prequels for the "return to Star Wars" feeling alone. It wins by Maul and a Neeson.

I'll never forget this poster and being so hyped,

The possibilities seemed endless.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I don't think I made it past the opening space battle on my last attempt to watch ROTS.
