I like the two new female additions. Was rooting for Lupita for a while and Brienne is great in Game of Thrones.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Mustafar, Kamino, Utapau and Coruscant had pretty much tiny sets if any with massive CGI backgrounds including photographic plates of real locations to save costs, at least you can see and feel where the money is going in Episode VII. And there will be cgi extensions to these sets too but if they can fool the audience that they're not watching a cartoon then no one can complain.

Thank you. I did forget about Naboo. That one was shot on location and had extensive sets and miniatures done. It looked and felt as real as Tatooine. But all of the above named ones did not.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Coruscant had a large number of sets--various Jedi Temple locations, Padme's apartment, the senate, Palpatine's rooms, the Outlander club and Coruscant street, Dexter's bar

My memory only sees plastic/shiny scenes. I'll take your word for it. I'm in no rush to revisit the prequels anytime soon.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Tatooine really should be made the center of the Galaxy since its in every frickin' movie.... except the good one.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Hey, SW 1 is an excellent movie, and ROTJ might as well be ESB when compared to the PT. :lol

I know this is a stupid thing to say. I know I will feel the repercussions.

Apart from all the throne room scenes and admiral ackbar, I prefer ROTS to ROTJ.

There I said it, "my name is Rory and I like one of the prequels..."

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

My name is not important. I like all the PT movies even tho I know why they're bad.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Other than Star Wars when it first appears, maybe having Tatooine in your Star Wars movie is a jinx? :dunno

:lol

The Curse of Tatooine: that's a pretty big problem since it's in all but one of the current 7 movies!
