Well it's definitely McQuarrie, the split engines, the snub nose etc.
Looks beautiful.

Definitely got the McQuarrie feel too. With subtle differences, so its familiar, warm, AND different all at once. LOVE the interlocking laser cannons on the S-foils.

My kid came home with an A+ on his finger painting homework, so proud of him.

Hey gang, I'm not looking to start or contribute to a PT vs OT war , check out this link, it shows lots of parallels across the PT/OT. Some I knew and were obvious, but others I missed, like Anakin rescuing Palpatine from falling down a shaft in ROTS , yet throwing him down one in ROTJ. If anything , there's some pretty good stuff here. If it's been posted before I apologize.

Oh so that's what happened to the original non-dementia Lucas prequel plots. I knew the story was there, just the puzzle pieces didn't fit. :lol

I loved that one with Sidious healing/attending to Anakin on Mustafar and Obi Wan attending to Luke on Tatooine.

You can kind of see where/what Lucas was trying to do. Some of them are actually very good, just lot in the story. I love the one with Luke and Setting suns and Anakin with eclipse.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Those are cool. Even if some of them might not have been intentional, there's no denying the parallel between them. There are some that are obviously trying to parallel something. Those feel a bit forced in my opinion. But whatever. Symmetry can be a cool thing.

My favorites were in ESB Vader kicking Luke down the stairs and in RotJ Luke kicking Vader down the stairs. Never saw that in the 19 years I've been a Star Wars fan! The setting suns/eclipse are cool. But to be honest, I don't even remember the eclipse shot even a little bit.

Oh, I think the bones were there for a good PT, George's cake just didn't rise. :lol

Dear Mr Abrams,

My family started treating me differently after I dragged them to the PT.

Can you please help me bring my family back together.

Sincerely,

jye4ever

P.S. There is a chance this happened because I married a latino asian mix ex stripper, but I won't know for certain until you make a great Star Wars movie.

I wish I could use all those early bird Episode 1 figures for ticket entrance for Ep 7. Then we coupd have a figure burning,
