Josh Trank is going to be directing the second spinoff movie, still no word on what they're going to be about, but given that the first one is coming in less than 2 years they're going to have to get working on them pretty fast.

Holy Sith! Now it's official! Can't wait! Someone photoshop Jedi Robes on him stat! I would but I have a deadline to meet!

That's the best he's looked in, I want to say years, but it may well be decades.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

I slept on the street to get tickets for TPM.

FML.

Listen, you're not alone!

I saw TPM 9 times in the theater. (denial is a real thing)

Now granted, i was a heavy pot smoker back then so that's my excuse. (that's probably the only way i could sit through it 9 times was with the use of drugs)
Like others have said, admit it and move on it gets better day by day!

I stood on line for ROTJ in 1983 on opening day for close to 9 hours, in torrential rain. The line wrapped around the theater 5 times! I made it to the final show at midnight. People screamed and applauded the entire movie, could barely hear the film! The best part, I was 11! and had gone with a few friends to see an "afternoon" movie. Needless to say we had a blast that day on line , as only kids can.

This was WAY before cell phones. I was dropped off by my uncle, who kept driving by from time to time along with my aunt, to check on us and bring us umbrellas and food......he was a great man who out of the blue decided to end his own life last year.

Thanks man! They were great memories, spent 9 hours wondering what would happen in the movie! I also remember being scared when Luke took off Vaders helmet! I was afraid of what Vader might look like!:rotfl

Ok I went to Toys R Us at midnight BEFORE the movie came out and FILLED a shopping cart full of everything TPM....
they still sit unwanted, unopened in the garage worth next to nothing...I was an idiot.
There ...I said it.

I'm not going to repeat this for Ep VII..I'm not..I'm not

I was 5 years older than you so I was already a cynical bastard therefore Fett's death and the Ewoks knocking out armored trooopers bugged me. :lol

But the rest of the movie was so mind blowing that I walked away loving it as much as the other 2.

Only as an adult did ESB surpass SW/ROTJ.
