Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

It's...it's beautiful. The whole time he was doing it, I was thinking "he's still got it." I know this is a Star Wars thread, but **** it; DC has Timm producing new content, Conroy's still a happy camper when it comes to portraying the dark knight. As much as I adore the Arkham games, I would just like one last hurrah from the original crew. Conroy, Hamill, Sorkin, Timm, Dini; the whole gang, be it a short or otherwise. But, yay! Star Wars!

Like what he said about secrecy, the movie is not on the internetz. Makes me wanna go spoiler free, but in afraid I'm too weak.

I love how everyone is talking about Hamill as if he's the only returning cast member...but I love it!

Sachiel - thanks for the Youtube links; that was great!!!!

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Well that's just because of those recent interviews/pics.

I'm majorly stoked about seeing Han Solo and Princess Leia again too. And the Falcon.....oh my, the Falcon.

Either Lando will be mentioned as deceased or they're keeping him a secret.

Hell, I think even Palpatine is being kept a secret.

He's probably the only one of the three that's actually enthusiastic about being back, that's why he gets all the fan love.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Well are they filming one movie at a time or all three like LoTR? As you all know they don't film movies in order of sequences so this might be the bulk of the ( Mark, Carrie, and Harrison) together in their scenes. I gather Harrison has other work lined up than just Star Wars so they might be using him to free him up. Lando and the others might be later shoots and the information just isn't revenant atm, but call sheets will change daily.

Mark looks great Now. 61 looks younger too, the best think that could have happened to him this.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

The beard actually makes him look younger somehow....and man, all his hair still. I'm jealous! lol

Yes must have lost three stone too, he was huge. he's taking this serious, he looks so happy full of life
Now too Master Luke is back...

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

There is one component of SW that I will never get back.

Using my imagination.

When Obiwan told Luke the story of his father, clone wars, vader and the republic, my imagination ran wild.

Now, everything is just shown.

Boba Fett had to have a funny accent just like his lame father Jango.

All the clone troopers had to have his look (Ughhh, hate that term....clone troopers, screw those SS 1/6 figures).

In my heart the PT never really happened, Obiwans's story will always remain a mystery for me.

This movie will have an explanation for everything.

Yep, sometimes not knowing is the best. I love Clones though, but I don't let the 'Fett' back story override my imagination. Hell, we had so much back story for our figures when we were kids, I could give you 6 movies just on random cantina denizens. :lol

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Harrison looks ready for this fitter then he looked in skull. Hope they keep him in all three. The OT cast all should be in at least the next three episodes.
I hope anyway.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

I hope Mark's Jedi is in a black robe still and not the old Jedi Robes.
