I hope Mark's Jedi is in a black robe still and not the old Jedi Robes.

Anything but the old garb, something new would be cool or even similar to what her wore in ROTJ.

You're right Jye - less is more.

Instant gratification generation aside - uncle George really flubbed by wanting to fill in all the gaps, just for the sake of it. I like elements of the PT as I've mentioned before, but a lot of it is pretty much garbage. That scene with Luke & Ben in STAR WARS where he's telling him the tale, is riveting.. yet we see nothing. That's great story telling.

I think although outwardly George seems to be pleased with the PT, I'm sure he's got regrets too.

I wish the PT were just the trailers for all 3 movies.

Just the footage in the trailers existed, nothing else, he stopped there, just to tease us.

I remember the first bits & pieces that started emerging for TPM; Qui-Gon / OB-Ewan, Natalie, Maul, Naboo architecture, the starfighters etc, & thought ****ing awesome.. ..then although we'd been warned, a lizard/duck/rabbit was running around screaming on film - & I was like

'wtf was THAT!!!?'

Same with AOTC. An older OB-Ewan, his trip to Kamino & the landing platform duel with a mysterious bounty hunter, the clone army amassing, Palpatine's sly commentary, & though - sweet.. ..then snippets of Ani getting bigger.. & the whining getting louder & more irritating. R2 & 3PO regressing into a 3 Stooges skit, Yoda bouncing around like a Nintendo nightmare.. etc.

ROTS - I thought.. well 'here we go again'.. at least the final duel should be cool. Lots of stupid dumb Jedi getting bowled over, a confused & sad Yoda rambling like he's got dementia, Palpatine turning into a rubber boogie man, George gorging on his CGI buffet - convolution turned up to 11.

Please be good EPVII.. please be good.

I don't think you have to worry at all. I have a feeling at worst, this is gonna wash the taste of the prequels outta our mouths.

Disney should just retcon Episodes 1-3 and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull like they did the EU stuff ("yeah, it could still play a role, but it's not actually canon").

The back story on Boba Fett ruined it for me . Why couldn't Boba just be a bounty hunter, and not somehow " involved" in the big picture. I think Lucas just cant leave back stories alone, less is more in my opinion . Vader's prologue shold have been left alone, I didn't need to know he was a whiney crybaby

Even if film makers think we should, we just don't need to know why certain things happen sometimes.

I thought George would've learned that at UCLA in the first month.

Ahh yes - Ben Q.. the little pixar muppet that looked like a sofa cushion with hands & feet.

There was no shortage of idiotic creature shop reject designs in that whole sequence.

Watto - the flying blue Tapir, was the worst though.
