I thought Watto was actually one of the better parts of the PT, don't know why, he just reminded me of something that could have very easily been OT. He seemed very Tatooine denizen to me if that makes sense.

The only time I thought Watto looked ok - in the context of being in a scene at least, was in AOTC when Anakin finds him & asks about his mother.

The way they had him in the shade with the flies buzzing around his face, & his hat slightly covering his eyes, & the way his eyes actually moved / were animated & rendered in the scene.. it looked fairly well done, like he was actually there on screen.

The sad reality is that these hedge fund companies bank rolling these big movies are demanding 1 billion box office.

Screw the PT, now go film against the California redwoods and Norway and gives us a real SW movie dammit.

I really liked Watto, personally. Dexter Jettster would've been more tolerable if he'd been CG'd more realistically.

Yeah, you're right. If they could improve Dex's CG as he worked in that 1950's american burger joint, it would have improved the character immensely. :lol

Wasn't Dexter's place just Mel's Diner from the old TV show? I think the waitress robots name was FLO.
