I betcha Luke Skywalker is a CLONE and the real Luke takes him out
****ing hope not. I don't mind Luke being Sith. I always sorta wish he'd turned in RotJ as a kid Lol

If luke being a sith is the spoiler I would hate that. Doesn't it sorta detract from the story of Anakin Skywalker if pretty much every other jedi, ever, turns to the darkside at some point? The EU was full of jedis becoming sith. Suddenly the story of Anakin becomes very unremarkable......granted the PT already ****ed it but still. Lets not have Luke become evil please. It's been done. Repeatedly

What if he isn't really a Sith and he's become so powerful with the Force that he's sorta transcended being either a Sith or a Jedi. Clone Wars is canon now and kinda speaks to that more. Also I believed that it was Luke that brought balance to the Force right? So why can't be just be someone that stands between the good and the evil and sorta just be like a Force being. I personally would love to see more of the mythical side of the whole series. I love the Politics as much as the next guy Lol but I'd love to see some of that sci-fi,fantasy ****

If they do have him turn, it will ruin the OT's tone completely.

Why? "Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny...."

He did start by trying to kill the Emperor with his lightsaber.

It was Anakin who "brought balance to the force".... a phrase that will cause many an eye roll round here.

It was Anakin who was prophesized to bring balance to the force and in the Clone Wars they show it as such. But then there's that whole thing about Luke Really being the one that brings balance.

Watch Farmboy Luke walk to the edge of the sand hole looking at the twin suns with that music playing, that soaring theme symbolising the future, the hope, the hero inside him. Then imagine a huge record/vinyl scratch as you have seen episode VII and you realise he's actually an evil ******* who double dips his light sabre.

Actually that was Fat Lucas who said it was Anakin.. If you take the new Rebels show with a grain of salt, it seems to allude to Luke as being the balance. (as it was originally intended before Lucas found wealth and drugs)

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

I always understood the Force needed a "reboot", Yoda had implied that the Jedi were loosing their abilities or something along those lines, I don't remember the exact quote but it was something like " a trait too common in Jedi Today".

Qui-Gon stated "we cannot fight a war for you".... Yet the Jedi became embroiled a galactic war, with the eventual possibility of temporally running the senate if they had killed Palpatine. This was all uncharted territory for the Jedi.

Anakin was the chosen one, he brought balance to the Force, maybe not in the way the Jedi thought he would, but he did the will of the Force. He basically, eliminated the Dark Side and the Light Side, The Force got a clean slate to start over. Anakin brought balance, Luke became the face of the new Jedi Order. Unless some craziness happens to him in SW7.

Uhhhh... Do you not understand what "take with a grain of salt" means? ... so yeah, you told us something that still contradicts everything else in the SW canon.
