Obi Wan would have brought a little balance if he made sure Anakin died on the lava beach...

Yeah, he should have chopped the rest of him up into dog food.

Palps still had the power though. And the army. He would have just gotten another minion.

Yup. You know who else does? All the writers, directors, and producers of Star Wars going forward. Like it or not it's part of the official continuity. Orrrrrrr you can perpetuate your own denial and keep your head buried in the sand.

I hate the prophecies and balance crap that the prequels brought in.

That wasn't in the original trilogy. Vader wasn't the "chosen one", he probably had a daddy too, not that "there was no father" ****.

Yeah, dont know where Lucas was going with that one, glad he abandoned it in the next movie, though, I doubt Episode 2 could have been any worse than it was. AOTC is the only one of the prequels I cannot bring myself to watch again.

ROTS is the one I can't watch. There's some sequences in AOTC that I like while TPM is actually a decent space adventure romp IMO.

It says a lot, when the best of the PT is the first film. :lol

It's totally my fave - I've said it many times in here, & despite all the **** in that movie, it still feels the most 'SW' of the three in comparison.

Please HT.. give me my Qui-Gon & Theed battle Padme.. :monkey2

There were moments of Episode 1 and 3 that I liked, but I cannot think of one thing about Episode 2 that I enjoyed.
