Fun to finally see a bit of what is to come. Cannot form opinion on the little bit seen so far.

Surprised people are picking apart the Sith lightsaber, when I was more un-impressed with the simple (boring) design of the Sith outfit. Looks like Maul with a hood. But I'm hoping he isn't "The Sith" -- maybe a flashback to an older time, hence the fiery blades.

I don't know why they're picking apart the lightsaber. Its the lighsaber I've always wanted. Whenever I'd lightsaber fight my brother, he'd always aim for my fingers. He reasoned you can't fight if you don't have fingers or if your lightsaber hilt has been slashed. Those side flame blades prevent that kind of attack from happening. There's a reason many swords have those kind of protectors on them. I always thought it was odd nobody did that with a lightsaber

It amazes me how the people that think this trailer looks great seem to have a real problem with the people who, like myself, think the trailer was poor. Whereas the people who think the trailer was poor don't seem to have a problem with the people who liked it. Funny that.

The first half of the trailer was kind of lame, the second half looked pretty cool though..... I'm not really sure I would call this a trailer, more like a teaser..... Given the anticipation for this movie and the hype meter shooting through the roof, the trailer/teaser was kind of a let down overall... Was expecting more... but knowing JJ this is his way to bring peoples unrealistic expectations down a few notches... I'm guessing will see a real trailer down the road that will get people excited... this teaser was meh at best..

Still can hit his fingers though. It's like a claymore guard, wouldn't offer the same level of protection as a rapier guard

Given that all the Jedi were pretty much wiped out and the Sith have always been about there only being two, and then the title of the Movie Force Awakens, it seems were going to see all sorts of new Jedi/Sith coming into their own in this film.
