Pretty much all but confirmed that Rey is Han and Leia's daughter.

Rumor has it that her full name is Kira Rey, which would make sense if Kylo Ren is supposed to be Han and Leia's son who turned to the dark side.

Yeah, I probably wrote it confusing :lol

It's rumored they are siblings (possibly even twins) with full names of Kira Rey Solo and Kylo Ren Solo.

It would make sense if Kira is in hiding if Kylo turned to the dark side or was abducted by the dark side. :dunno

Don't care what people say, George has better ideas and stories than 90% of the filmmakers out there, including Abrams.
What he needed was a good scriptwriter and a better director to give focus to his stories.
I'm really not sure at all that Abrams can come up with a better story to tell, but hopefully it'll be well crafted and acted.

I don't know about all that, but I do think that costume designers, and character designers were better back then.

The 70's/80's were a different time and he had other people around him who knew what they were doing.

Both trilogies were products of their time. The OT was the first of its kind, but the PT had to compete with a plethora of other effects-heavy blockbusters. (This is why the OT needed to be future-proofed with the SE).

There's still a human story at the heart of the PT but it was overshadowed/neglected in favor of the CGI.

3 trys and they got worse and worse :slap

In my view they got better, to the point where ROTS was in the same league as the OT. And I'm not alone.

I actually went into Ep III skeptical that George could make Anakin's downfall plausible within the space of one film, but I reckon he pulled it off.

ROTS is as good as ROTJ in my opinion. It's got good and bad points just like ROTJ. But Jedi gets away with a lot because of nostalgia and it does have some fantastic parts.

Each to their own, but I'd say No way. ROTJ actually gets a relatively hard time even from fans of the OT. But I think it's a pretty decent film as long as you don't count the added CGI parts from 99. I don't mind the prequels personally, but they aren't even in the same league. There is nothing in ROTS that matches the emotions towards the end of Jedi. It is Vaders story coming to a conclusion and it will always be remembered as such, the moment Vader finally turns is unforgettable (again, ignoring the added vocals arrrgh!). ROTS will be remembered as an okay movie full of slap stick and green screens.

Apples & oranges really.

One - a great mix of craft & talent coming together.

The other - a video game with the occasional real person thrown in.

The SE didn't 'future proof' the Originals at all as it turns out since the added CG is pretty dated now

You guys should be watching Harmy's Despecialized. Not the crap that they officially cram down our throats.

That is the most polite sentence I can imagine regarding the added CGI to the originals. I really hope we get an original cut on Blu ray soon. Or at least close to original, I don't actually mind the enhanced colours on the lasers etc, or even the change of language in A New Hope. But all of the fundamental changes and awful CGI needs to go.

ROTS is an awful culmination of 2 prior movies worth of missteps. It even managed to **** up the reveal of Darth Vader himself. It left the worst possible taste in the mouth. In no way is it the equal of ROTJ. Down with that sort of talk Rorywan and RIDDICK.

Apples & oranges really.

More like apples & leprosy.

His ideas and stories were 90% "borrowed" from others "out there." His brilliance was in synthesizing all the old cliches into a new hybrid.

You reckoned poorly . . .

Glad to see Disney is avoiding the embarrassing racial stereotypes:
