I remember playing Racer. Can you imagine it as a next gen PS4 Xbone game?
..because there's merit in both those movies.I will give it to TPM and ROTS, at least they're the 2 always mentioned when people are defending the PT.
AOTC.....well.......
I loved Rogue Squadron and Shadows of the Empire for the N64. I remember running into the hangar on Hoth as Dash Rendar right as the Falcon left. Very cool.
They're the closest things to what one might call "OT sequels".
Gotta love OT fanatics:
"fek Lucas for ruinin' mah nostaljah!"
Tie Fighter is still the best Star Wars game for me, although there have been a few I enjoyed.
Episode 1: Racer was amazing and really needs a modern day overhaul or at least a GOG release to get it working on windows 7/8.
"Dark Forces" takes place before, during and after Battle of Yavin.Actually weren't they set before the OT (or at least some of them)?
I thought Kyle Katarn stole the Death Star plans...
I meant in terms of cinematic like experience. But yeah, those were interesting. The closest *actual* thing to OT sequels were the Dark Empire comic series and Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy.
Instead of focusing on young teens, Star Wars: The Force Awakens instead seems to be centered on a pair of 23-year-olds (Daisy Ridley's Rey and John Boyega's Finn) as well as a 35 year-old (Oscar Isacc's Poe Dameron). Those ages are much more in line with those of the principal cast in the first Star Wars, which included a 26 year old Mark Hamill, a 35-year-old Harrison Ford, and a 21-year-old Carrie Fisher.
This is sounding more and more like a glorified fan-**** of a movie...
Why not try a different, fresh approach? Oh well, I'm sure it'll at least look spectacular on screen.
Wasn't it obvious though? They even have a Darth Vader, R2D2, and Boba Fett knock off...from the looks of it All they are missing is a small green alien.
