I just put the Attack of the clones blu ray in just to annoy you lot. Worst of the bunch imo but I don't mind the PT, I certainly didn't hate it enough to still go on about it, overuse of CGI aside. I watched TPM last week and I maintain it is the best of the three. Also, I'm only just the right side of 30 so I'm no kid, well, not physically. I think they are better if you try to consider them separate movies almost. The Force awakens has big boots to fill it seems.

I think most Freaks in this thread are under the influence of drugs, voodoo or the ladies of The View. :lecture :monkey3

Now why can't you just say that the Darth Maul battle was the only good thing to come out of the PT and move on. :lol

I'm convinced Luke is the main bad guy following in his father's fotsteps for some reason we will find out...Either he's Kylo- or there are two Kylo's or he is another yet to be revealed character.

Spindrift has an active imagination, I like that.

But.... here comes the big butt....

No way Disney is going to undo the entire OT by having Luke Skywalker be bad. Trouble with his offspring is far more likely. A Day he's seen coming for a long, long time.

For some reason, many fans seem to think that STAR WARS is full of big surprises and reveals. Well its not. Just one. "I am your father." That's it. No other surprises in any of the movies. So why start now?

Because JJ is involved and he had no problems unraveling the entire Star Trek universe. That said.....I don't think Luke will be bad.

But what he thinks are big reveals have already been figured out. He is not a "radical departure" type director... that's why Disney hired him.

If anyone here thinks they are getting another "I am your father" moment in this movie, then that's what you'll be disappointed about.

No, I don't think that. Some surprises for sure. Any big reveal like that would have to be after characters are already established. Maybe episode 8, maybe not.

We'll see- SOMETHING is up about Luke's reveal, preview- long or short filming time. etc...or JJ's playing with us!

Wait until Kylo finds out that Vader killed the Emperor.

Not until E9 though.

Unless the Emperor makes his grand appearance in 8.

------- I am convinced (or hoping) that Luke shows up in the third act as some sort of deus ex machina. If they actually try and make Luke the new Darth Vader and essentially blow up the central theme of the classic trilogy (the son redeems the father) for me, it would severely suck worse than a 1000 Jar Jars.

I think the twist will be playing up Finn as the Jedi the whole movie only to show Luke at the end who reveals it's actually Rey.
