Very disappointing game. While the graphics are an improvement over the first game, that's really the only thing that's improved. Combat is the same, even though you can cut off limbs, it doesn't feel any different. And having two lightsabers means nothing. The game is also much shorter, like 5-6 hours total. And it's much easier. Health is never an issue, and the boss fights are very easy, not to mention that there's only 3 of them. The story is really very poor. The plot is that Vader says you're a clone of Starkiller, and you never actually find out if you are, and the rest of the game is just about you trying to find Juno Eclipse.
Things are a bit more streamlined, you get force points which you use to upgrade a few things, but it's just one section of stuff to upgrade, Force powers. You don't unlock new moves and you increase health and force bars by finding holocrons for that. Luckily the menus load instantly this time, like they should have in the first game. And the few new things really shouldn't exist. The new Mind Trick power makes things too easy, as if it weren't easy enough. And the Force Rage that essentially makes you invincible for a short time is not needed at all, you can easily get through the game without it.
The set pieces for the game aren't as good as the first, and the end is really bad. Dagobah is pretty much just a cutscene, there's only a small part where you walk from your ship to the cave and that's it, Yoda's part is what was shown in the cutscene posted online a while back. And you never fight Boba Fett, you see him in the cutscene shown earlier, and then a couple more and that's it.
Also, they still do the really really annoying cutscenes where enemies show up and you have to wait for the cutscene to play through as they all spread out. I hate that the most of all, there's no reason to take control of the player away like that when you could be attacking the enemies right when they show up.
I wouldn't say this is even worth renting--5/10
