:lol that’s a unique reference but I get it :wink1:

But I think it was just emphasizing that Luke will always do the right thing in the end. Like he stopped himself from killing Vader and giving into the Darkside for the emperor In ROTJ.

Also like he sacrificed himself to let Leia and the resistance escape from Crait when he pretty much given up. Even when Leia gave him permission to stop her own son. He didn’t do it.

Luke will be forever known as a hero

No. He reflexively almost murdered Ben in his sleep. It was his first and instant reaction. That is psychotic for anyone to do. It makes him a sick person. Lets stop rationalizing the irrational.

So the reason Finn doesn't weild the Force is because he'll never understand it? Rey does use it because she can comprehend it? Brilliant.

Why am I not surprised?

Just believe and you can do anything!

Incidentally, Poe's piloting is so ridiculously good that one could definitely be forgiven for thinking he is a jedi. We never saw Wedge Antilles pull off the stuff Poe was doing in TFA.

For my response to that, see your sig. :D

:lol

Yes, and as referred to in those panels, he grew up near a "Force tree" grown from saplings Luke recovered from the Empire immediately after ROTJ. They may have been from the tree on Ahch-To.

Also, the idea of everyone having The Force is not so controversial. It's created by "all living things" after all. Some just "have it" more than others.

WTF is this GARBAGE??????????

So.... EVERYBODY IS A JEDI?

That's nothing. What is more bothersome is the fact that Finn isn't sweating profusely even in the comics. The guy can barely mutter a word before bursting out in sweat. :lol

This is an amusing picture.... it not in a good way....

If you cannot accept that Luke would become Jaded after everything he had to go thorough , the loss, the loneliness, seeing his friends suffer on his behalf....

How can you possibly accept a father suddenly becoming good after killing children and spending years killing massive amounts of people, and bribing his own son to his “master” for possible murder....

Hypocrisy.

Did you miss the part where Ben hadn’t done anything yet? You’re exactly right it’s hypocrisy - since Luke’s character had already been established beforehand as one who would forgive another who committed those considerable sins and still see the glimmer of good within him, it makes no sense he’d consider murdering someone who hadn’t done anything up to that point and was still a child.

Is this text a parody someone has added, or are those the actual words in the comic?

Search your heart, you know it to be true :lol

You have to explain this better....Always willing to listen but this paragraph makes no sense?

So... what did Luke go through again to get so jaded?

What did he lose, why was he lonely, which friends suffered? Honestly, I only saw TFA and TLJ once (TFA a bit again on TV) and I frankly have no idea what the answers are. I get that one of his students went septic maybe 7-10 years earlier, and it was Han and Leia's son, but so much of that backstory is foggy and muddled (perhaps deliberately so) that it's hard to figure out exactly what happened and when, so impossible to make moral judgements on...

Also, at the time of us seeing Vader's ROTJ redemption, all that PT hilarity wasn't in play (brooding Hayden as "Vader" with reptile eyes, moppets with helmets getting diced etc.) and besides, you're essentially dissing a central tenet of Christianity - that yes, you CAN be the worst mass murderer but so long as you repent at the end, the gates open for you.

Search your heart, you know it to be true :lol

No, BS... that is not the actual text, right? It kinda looks a bit photoshopy.

wtf... Poe grew up next to a force tree :)lol) and some of it kinda rubbed off on him? That's gotta be a new low.:slap

As the old saying goes, "the force doesn't grow on trees you know." Oh wait... it does.:horror:lol

No, it’s what you said above that makes no sense. You turned it around backwards and are coming at it from some really strange angle.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but:

Look at the meme again. It explains everything.

Vader = Evil man, done much, much wrong. Luke: There’s still good in him, forgiven.

Ben = child /nephew lightly flirting with dark side, done absolutely nothing wrong yet. Luke: Murder him in his sleep.

We’re not even shown why or how Luke came to that conclusion, we’re just told to buy it. Screenwriting 101 there
