Then Lando wouldn't have had his betrayal and redemption arc if he had nothing at all to do with Han's capture.

Yes it is doing well... But it also dropped immensely in price. I waited, and I believe a lot of people did. My son really wanted it, and it was a belated Birthday present as I had told him I'd get for him (us :wink1:) after his birthday when it was released. I felt bad I told him we should wait as to not support greedy companies. He was ok, but I felt bad. I bought it for $33.99. Barely a month after it came out. What was the last big game that dropped off in price that quick after release? Anyone?? This is how they combated peoples anger, along with removing the pay to win aspect. From mid-December, to still today it has fluctuated as a digital download priced between $34.99 to $42.99. That's a big incentive to many to give them a pass and for correcting their "mistake". And rumor is it was Disney that forced them to do this under the threat of not renewing their license for SW games. That's a pretty big incentive for EA to "take one for the the team". Till next time that is....

In this scene the movie is conspicuously telling viewers that Rey "wears the pants". Puts Finn in his place.

Rey: "I know how to run without you holding my hand!"

He then grabs her hand. I picked up on this when I first watched it on blue ray and then it just became too much when added to the Mary Sue aspect. I was ok with the Force Awakens before I noticed this.

I'm not going to let up on this. I want someone to try to defend it. How do you rationalize something this distasteful and inappropriate?

Finn then grabs her hand held out to him. I picked up on this when I first watched it on blue ray and then it just became too much when added to the Mary Sue aspect. I was ok with the Force Awakens before I noticed this.

Yeah that was the whole point...

Finn, a newly free Trooper was in “rescue” mode the second her saw Rey in “trouble”.

He also stops dead in his first rescue attempt , (when the thugs are trying to steal BB8) and sees Rey is more than capable of taking care of them herself.

Yet he continues to try to lead her....

Yet he continues thinking she “needs” rescue.

That moment is the turn around where a newly free Trooper realizes he may need help. And why not? What experiences do these new troopers have with the real world? He doesn’t even have a name at that point! He can’t do anything really but shoot a gun...he basically is dehydrated and dying when he meet Rey.

Rey has been surviving by scavenging and selling her finds since she was a child.

It’s not that she’s gonna “wear the pants” ....it’s that she, by her experiences in life, is a much better survivor than FN218 can possible be.

Now , you may not like a story where a girl is a better equipped survivor than a guy....but the story explains why this is pretty clearly .......

Don't even go there. It's the overtly political message that's the problem. Like I said, he shouldn't have grabbed her hand in the first place.

I would add that after Finn takes her hand held out to him he asks her "are you ok?" Rey replies "yea" but with with a tone and a look on her face like "of course I'm ok. I'm an empowered woman!"

in fact will likely cause them to trip and skull themselves.

Skull themselves!! LOL was that a typo....if not it’s hysterical. Hell even if it is ....it’s funny as hell.

Young lovers.

Finn was just looking for an excuse to touch her. He had a sheltered upbringing. The closest he's been to a woman was Phasma's shiny metal ***.

Technically... Technically... he was kinda sexually harassing her in that entire scene. by not letting go specially. being forceful. that was pretty bad
