Speak for yourself. Even though they're wrong (heh heh) I'd easily jump at the chance to catch a flick IRL with most of the naysayers in this thread. I "hate"JAWS, Wor-Gar, SNIKT, Clown Prince, crows, Gaspar, a-dev, Star Puffs, etc? Come on now... :nono

It's just one movie. Before you know it there'll be another BR 2049 that has us all singing kumbaya again. I'm guessing that that film will be IW.

I thought you retired from all of this :lol

I am doing a much better job of that :)

Yeah.. I don't think I have ever been angry at anyone just because they liked a different movie then me. I personally enjoy the debate.. I only worry that what I write might come off as pissy or angry at the person I am replying to. Which is never my intent.

Right, because the entire Star Wars universe hinges on one lineage. Jesus Christ, give me a break. I tire of the Skywalkers being THE sole reason for whatever delusional ties people have to the lore. But if one film and the direction it took, quality not withstanding, makes you feel abandonment is your place in all of this... well, you won’t be missed. :wave

So, you missed out on seeing one of the best Batman films to ever hit theaters, besides the ‘89 flick, because you let Joel Schumacher’s ****** films have that much of an impact on you? Well then... I dunno what to tell you.

Yet you don't tire of the Empire (First Order) Vs The Rebels (Resistance) fighting it out for control, you are quick to criticize when you yourself enjoy the same repetition.

Two things. Never said that. Lastly, there are almost always wars within the Star Wars universe. It’s in the name.

At any rate, it’s hard to completely tire out of the good vs evil arc in Star Wars. That’s kind of the point of it. However, you can be more than sick of everything reverting back to the Chosen One.

Eh, I loved TLJ and also feel that SW is kind of over now that Luke is gone. I think it's actually kind of liberating to have this as a jumping off point of sorts. Will I still watch the upcoming movies? Of course, but it's all gravy from here on out and no big if anything misses the mark.

It's liberating for me in that I won't be tempted to collect the sequel trilogy stuff going forward. If I was looking for a silver lining this is it!

As for the movies going forward I am sure I will still watch them in one form or another same as you. But with so little interesting content currently coming out of Hollywood I wish I could get more excited about a new Star Wars movie.

Grievous cgi is incredible. What a crap of a character.

And yet, in retrospect, he somehow has more personality, charm, presence and character than the likes of forgettable ST baddies like Snoke, Hux, Unkar Plutt, the "ur a ded mon AN SOLO" gang and Phasma (she's been ****ing terrible and will most likely be back for one last pointless "**** YOU" to the audience). This is for, like you said, a completely CGI character. His gait, the asthmatic cough, his cowardice, the mustache twirling serial villain aspect of him, the European voice, the lightsaber gimmick, he's good stuff.

Same with Maul, Watto, Sebulba, Jango and Dooku. None of them are Vader, Tarkin, Palpatine or Jabba, but they're better than the ST garbage.

The strongest point and maybe the only positive of this new trilogy is Kylo Ren, he's a good villain in a **** show of bad characters and story. I think that has more to do with Adam Driver than it does the writing because I don't even get what Ren's motivation is anymore. First it was "I wanna be granddaddy Vader", then he drops it within 48 hours to "I'm evil cause uncle Luke tried to **** me in my sleep" to "I just wanna **** Rey and rule the galaxy". Still, a decent character. If only he wasn't ao stupid and noticed that Luke was clearly a fake.

DJ was interesting too, like Grievous he had cool personality gimmicks like the stutter and the odd mannerisms, but he was too short lived.

100% agree Mr DiFabio.

Wait until Wor-Gar finds out, DiFabio better have his words taken back by midday or there’ll be hell to pay.
