This concept art has always stuck with me...wonder if we'll see this happen

If I love the movie I'm sure I'll be able to accept it the way I did for Bail in RO. But they'll definitely have their work cut out for them if that's the route they choose.

Agreed. But if it happens it will likely amount to cameo. Though a much heavier cameo than Smits'. Hayden seemed kind of scared of everything at Celebration.

I would love to see young (Hayden) and old (Shaw) Anakin ghost shown lol.

**** it, just show ghosts of Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Mace, Han, Jedi Council, Fett, Ewoks, Caspar and Space.

I do want to see a scene of Luke telling the Ewoks that their victory has been squandered.

Then Ewoks look up at Rey and be like "Who's this b****". .

I don't really care. It would make sense to tie the trilogies together though. It'd be great for people who are fans of the whole saga while I can just pick and choose as I always do.

I think the "ghosts" should look how you were when you died. Not "when you were last good". Besides, wasn't Vader 'last good' as Shaw -- tossing the Emperor?

And how does the Force choose your last best 'good' side? Like was Obi-Wan at his best as an old man? Even though at that age he totally lied to Luke? Wouldn't that disqualify his ghost? Maybe he should be younger too?

Force Ghost rules get all squirmy when properly analyzed.

Remember how the ghosts in American Werewolf in London would materialize in their freshly murdered conditions.

Just have the younglings come back all mutilated to mess with Luke's head lol.

Maybe Old Ben was a Grey Jedi?

:lurking

Am I seeing things or are the letters that spell out The Last Jedi on the poster gray and not white.

Damn you Snikt.

Isn't Aunt Beru's milk also gray?

If Anakin is in this, it'll probably be like most Star Wars movies and play out like the abandoned concepts from The Force Awakens where Kylo Ren is conversing with Anakin or some ****. Concept ideas always pop up back up in some form and are realized.

Or if this grey BS is true, they'll have a scene between Hayden Christensen with Adam Driver where Anakin is trying to convince Ben that's he's going down the wrong path, while the burned up Vader helmet is like "no, no, don't listen to him, listen to me." Me personally, I always thought only Luke could see the ghosts, so maybe if it happens, it'll just be Hamill and Christensen.

I'm sure they won't be able to resist a CGI Alec Guinness force ghost either.

If it happens, I'm yelling REMEMBER ANAKIN SKYWALKER? REMEMBER OBI-WAN KENOBI? I REMEMBER THEM in my theater.

Same. Whatever they do from here on out won't make me get "triggered" or nerd rage or whatever. The Saga has a satisfying beginning, middle, and end for me so If I enjoy any new movie then great, if not then it'll just be another SW film that I dismiss as canon.

Force ghosts are only dumb if you go by ROTJ:SE (not saying you do though.) With the theatrical cut you can assume that ghosts either appear as perfectly healed versions of the Jedi at the age they died or that they appear in the form most recognizable to whom they are appearing to. Either way works just fine and makes sense internally. But ROTJ:SE suggests that even in death Anakin was vain and risked total confusion on his son's part just so he could show him how "hot" he used to be before their final farewell.

Harmy FTW.
