Maybe when they say gray jedi they are just referring to Luke's bush

(Rey luke love scene perhaps?)

I don't want to see force ghost Hayden...They would have to use a lot of makeup on him to make him look like Anakin again as we saw at Celebration Orlando, he looks different now, his voice is even different. :slap

Aren't force ghosts supposed to look the same when they died as Jedi :lecture

If they use Hayden as a force ghost, they should really make him transparent

He looked and sounded exactly the same lol

Besides even if he's slightly different it's nothing that makeup, cgi and ADR can't fix.

Are you kidding..watch the celebration interviews again on YouTube..he sounds like he smoked a thousand cigarettes..no more whiny squeaking voice and the Age lines around his face :horror

His face maybe looked a bit older but not more than I would expect after 10+ years.

We never heard what a Force Ghost Anakin sounds like, so a deeper voice isn't a problem. Unless people think he should sound like a baby voiced Jake Lloyd or a whiny teenage Episode II Christensen or a dying, gasping for air Sebastian Shaw. How he sounds now is fine. In fact, evoking a sense of maturity and tiredness would be fitting if the goal is to get the character to impart wisdom to Ren, Luke, or Rey.

If they do go forward with it, throw a hood on him or give him a wig and it'll be fine. Look at Carrie Fisher, I thought it would take nothing short of a miracle to get her looking decent for TFA, and they did a pretty good job for the most part when she's just standing there. For Christensen, it would be no problem. Especially when any character that's a Force ghost would just be cast in blue CGI anyway. I don't think the guy has aged so much that audiences would be like "who the hell is that". :lol

As for Anakin appearing, I don't see why Vader/Anakin should get that luxury. His story ended. Don't do that Force ghost **** anymore. Sure Kylo Ren is a wannabe fan boy, but does that mean Anakin should just show up or whatever? Why does he warrant an appearance. That era is over. I've always hated Force ghosts, even as a kid. I dig Obi-Wan's voice of reasoning in Luke's head in the first one when he's on the Death Star and flying the X-Wing, but when you get to a point where he's sitting on a log, fully formed, talking to Luke and telling him about points of viee, it's just so silly and cheesy. I don't like how it works. It's a cool magic thing in Star Wars when Obi-Wan is struck down and his body disappears, but when you get to actual Force ghosts, I just don't like it. I mean why did Yoda get to disappear? How come Obi-Wan couldn't appear ot help Luke on Bespin? Is it something all Jedi get to do? If that's the case, why didn't Anakin fade away in the Vader suit after he croaks? I mean he got a Force ghost in the end right?

Yeah yeah, Qui-Gon somehow showed them the way by becoming one with the living force, but then how come there's no Force ghost Qui-Gon? That's one of AOTC and ROTS biggest flaw, not having Liam Neeson return in some capacity.

Just don't do it. It's bad enough they somehow dug up Vader's burnt, endor cindered mask and has **** boy talking to it, don't bring the character back for more discussions. I mean atleast Luke met Obi-Wan and Yoda, but Kylo Ren? C'mon. Just hold your horses. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we see a Force ghost Luke.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they jump the shark and have Han somehow reappear.

.

That was one of Lucas' biggest miscalculations.

Why are the force ghost wearing their jedi outfits ? They're ghosts, and they left their clothes in the material world, so they should be naked when they show up to talk to people, like Dr. Manhattan.

How did Obi-Wan get his cloak back as a Force ghost when it was still on the Death Star?

Did Jawas become Force ghosts too? C-3PO looked like he was just holding robes when he threw them into the fire.

All this Star Wars stuff makes my ass itchy. I rationalize Force ghosts as being in Luke's crazy head. Remember, that Sandperson hit him pretty hard, right before he met Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I now have a permanent visual memory scar........thank you
