Its obvious its not the end, but its like the bubble will burst at any second, honestly i am debby freaking down carrie fisher died and cannot continue on IX, obviously her storyline was going to be bigger on that one and now it will be filled with some scroll on how she disappeared or wherever will happen to her on VIII. I think the best way to honor an actor is to portray them even in CGI, we all know she would have wanted it, they nailed it with Tarkin and young leia...

You really think after 9 star wars is going to have trouble ?

Does that Walker have on hockey pads?

Anyways if the entire Republic was wiped out where is the resistance getting all this firepower from, big bombers etc.

Why didn't they use it against Starkiller base after it destroyed all of their planets?

Oh ok, you say it couldn't deviate from ANH where only a handful of fighters were used plus infiltrating the base, my bad lol

Forget the resistance.

What I don't get is how the First Order can afford things like AT-AT's, troopers, combat vehicles, etc. after such a devastating defeat with the Starkiller base getting destroyed. The Starkiller was ****ing huge. We saw in TFA an entire fleet of vehicles and troopers that went on for miles and miles.

Look at this ****ing thing,

The First Order ain't no Empire. How can they get their **** pushed in that hard and not atleast be a rag tag organization now?

And yet, it's like they didn't even experience a major defeat. All the top ranking individuals from the First Order got away, Phasma somehow survived getting thrown into a trash compactor AND the ****ing Starkiller blowing up, Kylo Ren and Hux bailed with ease, etc. etc.

Star Wars needs to stay away from large world destroying bases. Those things never last very long.

Exactly. It was already implausible enough that they could build that thing in the first place while somehow not already being the dominant force in the galaxy. That they can survive its destruction and still (presumably) be the primary threat...

It's not the same as Empire at all!
It's not a walker attack in the snow! It's ahem.. a walker attack in a white salt flat..
Completely different. And it's not cloud city run by a gambler.. it's ahem.. a casino city.
An old disillusioned Jedi living on a barren world teaching a "last hope" Jedi the ways of the force!
Luke is not yoda!
Poe Dameron may be wearing Solo's vest now but he's no captain!
Oh wait.. he is.
:lol

You left out that Kylo will be holding out his hand telling Rey, 'No, I am your brother!"

Yea TFA spoiled the happy ending we got. So we are supposed to expect another happy ending? Eh, I wanna find out Rey's story but don't care one bit if the rest of the characters get a happy ending.

I love to give a happy ending to Rey and Felicity Jones

People expecting Rian Johnson to do a pseudo-remake of ESB don't know a thing about Rian Johnson.

TLJ will be nothing like any other SW movie.

Except for the returning characters from at least 1 trilogy, probably 2, spaceships, droids, themes, music, "Jedi" in the title and the story...

Yeah, you're probably right, as usual. :lol

TLJ will break the SW mold in almost every way:

-The Jedi will no longer be deemed the "good" faction
-Two Force-users will become romantically involved
-Two non-Force users will engage in a homosexual relationship
-The protagonists are Force-users who wield both the Light and Dark Side(s)
-The villains are Supernatural (borderline Vampiric and reanimated)
