Oh, that one. I don't care for it. Doesn't feel 'Star Wars-y' to me. Seems like something I'd see on a Coke can.

No romance, no adventure -- these posters should feel like a wondrous adventure film from a past era.

I just saw "The Nuns"....

What happened to Star Wars? Its going total Dr. Who. Porgs, nuns...

Crazy , and now Dr.Who will be a woman no less, can you see the similarities with Rey being the key character ..what has a Disney done to SW universe :rotfl

Following yesterday’s planetary assault’s worth of information on the upcoming film, even more details on Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been revealed online, specifically about Carrie Fisher’s final appearance as Leia in the series.

“I’s not like we made the film thinking that we were bringing closure to the character,” director Rian Johnson tells EW. “But watching the film, there’s going to be a very emotional reaction to what she does in this movie.”

Some further details about Leia’s role in the film were also revealed, including how she will be mentoring Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron into more of a leadership role in the film.

“Poe is in some ways a surrogate son for Leia,” Isaac said. “But also I think she sees in him the potential for a truly great leader of the Resistance and beyond.”

Isaac revealed his character’s arc in the sequel is about transitiioning from soldier to leader, from seeing beyond the scope of winning a fight to planning the future of that entire galaxy far, far away.

“I think Leia knows she won’t be around forever and she, with tough love, wants to push Poe to be more than the badass pilot, to temper his heroic impulses with wisdom and clarity.”

Johnson also revealed fresh details on new characters for the film, including Laura Dern’s Vice Admiral Holdo, who is still cloaked in secrecy and potentially because of a history with Leia herself.

“The secrecy does have a purpose in that part of the fun with Laura’s character, with Admiral Holdo, is figuring out what her relationship is to everybody as you go along through the movie,” Johnson revealed.

There’s also Benicio del Toro’s character, who is still only known as “DJ” but now we have an official description of the character, which reads:

DJ is an enigmatic figure whose tattered, threadbare clothes and lackadaisical attitude conceal a sharp mind and expert skills.”

Co-star John Boyega also offered a tease for the character’s role in the film, as DJ will be joining Finn and Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose on their mission to the casino city of Canto Bight.

“We just need a codebreaker and he’s the best in the galaxy. Unfortunately, he’s very dodgy and only in it for financial gain. He doesn’t fight for any side,” Boyega says.

^ Which is kind of odd considering Poe originally was suppose to die in TFA and Isaccs himself was fine with it

I think we are all glad Poe survived.....

His my second favorite character of the new Trilogu.

What do you want Old Mark to do? Look at his shape. You want to see him do flips, and spin in the air...?

His fighting style should be like Old Ben now. Slow, plodding, minimal effort.

Can't say that excites me. Now if he walked out before the enemy, slashed his saber a few times, then assumed a battle pose... and the enemy simply throws a saber into Mark's head between his eyes, now that would be something.

It's not my job to figure out what he should do in the movie. It just better be a big, great role.

There's plenty he can do without being young, quick and acrobatic.
