Flash Gordon: cheese but a few scenes of serious stuff to stick with a kid...like many of these films there is that one scene that all the kids talked about at lunch....these are BAD films...but made our conversations as kids so they are remembered fondly...

Black Hole : andriod scene.
Krull : cyclops crush scene
Beast master: every scene with that chick.
Tron: bike chase

I would add
Buckaroo Banzai
The Hitcher
The Re Animator
Enemy Mine

They all had scenes of worthiness....but overall , not good films...

A. I now need to rewatch Black Hole it's been like 30 years since i've watched it. Nostalgia is a beech! Music was cool as were some of the effects but still a garbage movie when compared to SW!

Doing that right now. dug out the dvd.

If Lucas had gotten the rights to Flash Gordon, we might not have gotten Star Wars. And if there was no Star Wars, we wouldn't have got cheesy Flash Gordon.

Yup, that is Humungus. He's been in the works for some 10 years. The new Arnold Phicen body finally set him on a path to being finished. Just needs the mask and rest of the head done.

Blondie is the Redman knockoff. Yup, the Rainman Fanboys are pumping their fist now.

As for TBH, it's pretty much a 50/60's sci-fi movie and can be left as such. No comparison to it contemporary SW and the science isn't accurate at all but still a fun ride. The imagery was dark and the villain evil from the very start. 7/10 for sure. Disney should push Hot Toys to make a entire lineup.
