I wonder if this movie will at last explain the necessity of a third Skywalker trilogy. I'm still curious. Never got an answer from TFA.

But now that the Force is awake, I hope it answers.

As long as Max is on the boards....my son did his first kit bash this summer....he's a diecast car nut...

I hope it answers in this movie. I feel like its when you wake a cranky old man and he is confused and forgot he already told some of the story so the facts got a little muddled

This is why I feel Plagueis has to be involved somehow. For it to be justified it has to be connected somehow to Anakin's conception. And Snoke's rumoured line from TLJ may bear that out...

"What father doesn't see his own creation."

So read some quote from Johnson saying he didn't want Luke to be seen as a "coward."

Figure revealed as Hascon is called "Luke Skywalker - Jedi Exile."

So.....he's not a coward? Someone exiled him? Cause if he exiled himself, isn't that still pretty cowardly?

I guess he felt responsible for what happened to Han/Leia/Ben so he went away feeling ashamed but we didn't see any of that so we don't care.

An opening crawl doesn't cut it especially one that is 32 years long!

Here we go with the inside sources BUT word is that Disney is much happier with TLJ than they were with TFA and that multiple outside opinions being brought in are letting Disney know that they have a masterpiece in their hands that will make TFA look like a kids book.

People brought in were other executives, producers, writers and actors.

Yup time for Disney to start leaking like my basement pipes.

Which tells me that Rian will just be kept for IX, supposedly he became really close with Kennedy.

How JJ survived was a miracle, I guess removing him would've ruined TFA needing to look perfect behind the scenes since it was the big return of SW onto the world stage.

Wonder if Carrie's passing had anything to do with the shakeup.

This is fantastic news... if it isn't Disney's machine planting history.

The only downside is that it justifies SNIKT's 'auteur' belief and lifestyle. There will be no living with him now.

Yeah, up till now all the pivotal events have been shown in the major episodes. Now we have to rely on flashbacks (hopefully with de-ageing CGI!)

Guess he should be given credit for setting the stage. Plus grossing over $2b worldwide, I doubt Disney/LFL are complaining.

I don't know if I buy Disney bringing in outside albeit still industry people.

You would have to leave your kidney there lol

Snokt wins...fatality.

Funny you should mention deaging, i'm now reading gossip that Ford agreed (ie; paid handsomely) to deaging for a scene not only in Solo but also for Indy 5.

I'm like an old lady I love reading internet gossip lol.
