Only few on here can push back against that kind of deflating burned out cynicism especially when what he says is correct in every sense of the word if you’re approaching these genre movies from a cold and soulless analytical mindset like he is.

The only weapon effective enough to combat that level of pessimism are Grace videos, porgs and Weinstein’s last supper memes, Trump is already losing his meme strength.

Oh and I think Snoke was obviously referring to Luke and Disney is about to pull off the best misdirect in cinematic history which will be this generations “I am your father!” moment.

I of course agree with DiFabs post. Seems like ever since 1999 I've gone into Star Wars movies and come out only to say: maybe the next one will fix this.

I'm quite certain people will leave TLJ saying the same thing.

The only thing I'm not liking atm is Porgs. They're already tediously annoying. That's probably mostly due to the board, but still.

I hope TLJ is great too. I'm not rooting for it to lose. I was skeptical of RO but was so happy to find that I enjoyed it. I would like to come out of a Skywalker driven movie for the first time since 1980 with a big smile on my face and feel like I want to go right back in and see it again.
