Wow ...just wow? Every heard of character development?
What character development.. How did Finn Grow in any of this except digging on a girl he has no chemistry with.. Would have been more of a character development if he sacrificed himself.. But Rose had to ruin what would have been a great moment. Stupid rose
Introducing a new character, who made some very important statements about the nature of war, and where Finn fits in this struggle.
I needed a 40 min subplot for this?? Really??
This arc was about Poe learning to be a leader to take over for Leia.....he was being schooled in doing what is right versus a trigger happy "flyboy"...not sure how you could miss that.
I thought that point was made by Leia herself in the first 10 min... But I guess we needed it again because there was nothing better to do with him... It;s not like he Lead anymore after being a trigger happy flyboy the 2nd time.. One could argue its to set up his character for the 2nd film but I am focusing on this one story.. I did not see where he was anymore of a leader then he was already.. I guess he told them to call off the suicide mission against the At Ats but again... We had to watch 30++ min of stupid chase scenes to get to Poe trying to take command just to be wrong again and told the same thing leia told him 10 min into the film and then be a leader by calling off an attack that would have been an obvious suicide mission.
again...the point was to show these crazy risky adventures were bad decision making...They failed at their quest....that was the point....
Well that may be the case but that don;t make for good story telling and again ultimately serves no purpose to further the actual plot. There was better / shorter ways to get that same point across..
How about this..
Not Communicating is a bad decision.. Had Laura Dern just told everyone what the plan was they could have avoided everything.. Woman and their damn secrets
