Next week is the one I'm curious about.
Ok, but as we have gone over dozens of times by now it isn't for just them regardless of original intention. No more than Harry Potter or Superheroes are. Some things just hit that magic spot and are appealing to everyone.
Hell, you have a Superman avatar. Wasn't he originally intended just for kids?
Plus, even if that was the truth, explain the Senate debates in Episode 1. Every word of that went right over my head when I first saw that movie.

LOL i'm actually ****ing irritated.
Ok....where did all that come from? All I asked was didn't GL at one point state that the target for the OT was intended to be for kids?
Next week is the one I'm curious about.
Cave/hole- felt like something was missing, like a point.
True. But with the holiday coming up - folks that avoid opening days/weeks will be going to theaters. I know I'm going with multiple family members then. "Everyone" - and these would be "general movie-goers" will go to Star Wars. Or Coco, maybe.
The game board is essentially empty. It was bad enough he in the First Awakens when the two factions status in the Galaxy wasn't made clear, but now they've completely and utterly blown the **** out of each other.
Sorry, reflex. Alot of people on these threads have been making posts to the effect of "Look at all the fanboys crying over filmfilms meant for kids". Saw your post and took it the same way. I apologize.
I wonder who are they going to kill off in episode 9?
Considering it picks up right where Force Awakens left off (Luke standing there with the lightsaber, Snoke ripping Kylo and Hux for the Starkiller's destruction and being bested by a girl, Leia and Co. retreating from D'Qar), it's got to be a couple of days, up to a week.
They haven't put much thought into any of this stuff.
I still thought it was weird how Poe was treating Maz like an old friend when she awkwardly tells them about the mysterious codebreaker when Maz was really Han and Chewie's friend/contact. That whole subplot seemed like one day and a draft of writing.
