Yup very old school. He mocked Hux’s orders and had the “really” look when his ship was blowing up...beautifully played

If the film tried to make it a glitzy and opulent hive of scum and villainy but give it a more other worldly feel I would have liked it better..

Its weird because In SW its a just a bar and I don;t mind. But there is so many aliens , weird musical instruments playing music that sounds like it could be alien music, makes it feels otherworldly.

This felt more like a scene in a Bond film.. Just too much like a casino on earth.

I will say that the music in the background was reminiscent of the cantina scene.

Hmm, a Bond-esque casino, a fair comparison I'd say. For whatever reason I thought it worked, lol.

Can we all agree the commander of the dreadnought was awesome.....best first order officer to date

As for the sheer level of melodrama being manufactured by many who disliked this film, freaking priceless.

I do miss the "monsters" that used to inhabit Star Wars... like the dianoga or the Wampa. Those little side beats with creatures.

Could they have not adapted a tried and true story or comic. In all the expanded universe there was nothing that they could gave adapted instead of this .

It's clear the only thing they thought of was copying t the previous movies and repackaging them , and knowing they could not repeat that with this movie tb ey would be forced to make up a new story this is the best they could do.

I hope all you marvel fans are happy Disney has infected your beloved star wars and now that they have fox and DC is too scared to try anything new the whole dam genre will painted in the Mickey mouse colors cheap jokes and never ending plot lines all designed to look like high end tv shows made to sell the next movie and toys .
