How do they shoot ANYTHING with Leia? They can't. Besides, Luke and Leia already said goodbye. And it's not like we saw Luke's ACTUAL reaction to Han's death...they cut away.

My point is they did shoot it, it’s in the movie. Leia and Rey talk about Luke’s death, so obviously it wasn’t some last-minute post-production change.

TLJ is a freaking Snuff film that shows Kennedy/Johnson/Disney murder Star Wars itself....they drove a Stake thru its heart shattering it into billions of Peter F K N Pan fairy dust spread evenly around the liberal galaxy

LMFAO!!

The force was prison gang raped by women named Disney, Kennedy, and Johnson....George Lucas should be crying for Star Wars...He should be like Michael Caine over the Bruce Wayne Tombstone screaming "I'm sorry I failed you!"

They got to him.... the disney mafia finally silenced him

I'm pretty sure hes laughing his ass off, perusing some of the old hate mail about how he ruined Star Wars. :lol

I am rooting now for evil as of TLJ....even if they are morons like Kylo or a Weasley, anybody is better than these new breed of rebels who I now think of as scum...the sheet under my shoe > TLJ

I mean if you guys don’t believe Hammill and his ending, actors including kennedy do like ten reshots of a scene and what might happen, perfect example Leto in SS, they shot contents worth for a joker two hour movie but we saw that portion, I heard Kennedy wants directors to do what she wants and reshoots how she wants,

We should start a petition to oust her.

Rey and Luke talk about Han in a strangely brief moment, then cut out - it's also unfortunate it comes to Luke from Rey (i.e not from one of the OT heroes - even R2 or Chewy might have been better than Rey to reveal it to Luke,) who technically only met Han ten days earlier and really didn't know him that much.

The death of Han Solo is almost ignored in TLJ - mentioned briefly, then off we go again. Glossed over. It amounted to a pretty much pointless "surprise!" death in TFA (shock, emotion for fans, but not much for the storyline,) and TLJ treated it as a worthless emotional beat also.

Fans really wanted to see this event (which seemingly only just happened days earlier than the continuing timeline of TLJ) sink into the remaining OT heroes - maybe some kind of funeral, or at least Luke, Leia and Chewy together as Luke finds out. But... nothing really.

Rey is Chewy's new boss (and somehow now speaks Wookiee language) - and it's back to action with the Falcon roaring in to save the day, but with no emotional gut feeling like in ANH.

With four dreadnaughts and three versions of snoke ships after them

More time was spent mourning coral in finding nemo. But hey, we got a 45 minute casino scene which makes up for that.

All agreed, just referring to the conspiracy theories being bandied about a couple pages back that Luke’s death was thrown in during post production. Of course it’s possible they always planned for a couple ending options.

Ben gets a brief moment from Luke and Leia in ANH and then they move on to the TIE gunner station scene. All he gets from Han is another “old man” reference. His death is then never mentioned by any character in the rebellion again as far as I can remember.
