LOL no! The jump to lightspeed expansion was not the death of SWG. Much more killed SWG than space. I don't even know where to start. The CU was the stab, and then the death blow was the NGE.

My argument is that if the design team had focused on COMPLETING the real game instead of rushing the space combat then we may never have had the CU in the first place.
 
I actually really wanted them to do space. It makes the universe more realistic. You can do missions on planets or you can do space missions. The on rails thing is a major let down for me though. I hope that changes.

Not true. CU and NGE went into development before the original version of the game was launched.
 
.... why are Miraluka and Chiss in this game?

Thought Nihilus killed all the Miraluka in KOTOR 2 ...... I guess there could have been some off-world....


But the Chiss are not even encountered by the galaxy proper until the time of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.




Is someone sleeping on the job at Bioware, or lucasarts? First the Virago in KOTOR 2, then Clone armor and Imperial Star destroyers 2000 years before Kamino designs them.....

Still, it's just minor nits. Least I Can probobly Play a chiss... even if it makes no sense canon-wise
 
Looking forward to this as it'll be my forst MMORPG. Not too sure how the missus is going to feel though.
