Don't you! I see what you're doing.

Control control, must learn control!

With great power ( and beta invites), comes great responsibility.
It's not a game demo, you're there to help them make it better.
And to do that, you've got to play it. ALOT.

and think of it this way, by learning everything there is to know, you can level back up pretty quick.

Beta is almost done. People that are getting invites now are there mainly for stress testing. You'll all be there next month if you signed up.

I don't do quick, with this game i don't wanna rush. It's the choices that make this different than any other MMO. Going through it again would not be quick cause i'd like to see the outcome of the other choices:exactly:

This is a quote i saw in game yesterday that really hit home.

"This is the best single player game i've ever played online."

(those that just wanted KOTOR3 will enjoy that i bet. Even though this is KOTOR 3,4,5, and 6 all in one)

My advice do not rush, do not powerlevel. Game isn't going anywhere. As true SW fans not just MMO fans, like the WOW boys that are there. I'm sure you guys will appreciate the story, and take the time to make the choices for your character that you would if it was in fact you. I'm am playing this cause it's SW, if it was any other MMO i would not give a s ____ (well maybe a marvel MMO) And Bioware. SWG was great at first, but this is Bioware not Sony.

Gonna be playing this for years, i do not care how long it takes me to level, i'm smelling the roses.

No, but Bioware is now EA (which is worse)... and we've seen what can happen with that teamup in dragon age 2.

I am curious to see how the "alternate endings" system plays out. In all respects, I'm not expecting it to effect things all that much, but we will see.

I have faith that it will be an awesome game. and I'll even accept that it's awesome now, even in beta.

But I'll not be nieve enough to think that it can't get screwed over later. Much like Sony did with SWG, and EA did with WAR.

I'll just hope that it won't.

Well, this project was started long before EA bought Bioware. I don't think its initial launch will be a problem, like how well DA:O did. But I would be more concerned about what EA would do in the future after the game is released.

That's my concern Exactly.
What EA wants in an MMO is a wowkiller. They themselves have said as much on a few occasions.
it's their treatment of an MMO when it fails to become a WOWkiller that worries me.

an MMO is generally only as good as it's funding.....

meh, having played age of conan alot lately, microtransactions are nothing. i'm more concerned to know what the monthly fee is going to be.

It's for a smooth launch. So as not to have server crashes and such.

Viper let me know what you're gonna play, and is it gonna be you main in game or you gonna play something different to not ruin story. Let me know your name as well.

For those wondering, this game is KOTOR with MMO elements mixed in IMO. (this will probably make those that just wanted KOTOR3 happy) This is KOTOR 345 all in one.

"best single player game i've ever played online"

lol love that quote.

Never played WOW so can't compare. Played SWG, LOTRO, COH.

How's it compare to LOTRO?

I like that it's for a smooth launch... but it's gonna piss alot of people off.
Even pre-ordering is NOT going to garintee you a copy.
50,000 copies only at launch? that's a TINY amount for an mmo.

Yeah it's gonna piss people off regardless. I believe it's only 50k for the CE, at least that's what i've been hearing. 500K SOLD 50K ONLY GUARANTEED...With more in queue (That article may be a little off)

I've only played a few characters to 10 so far, don't wanna go much further. Seriously the story is engaging and i don't like to spoil any of it. I think i may role a IA and just go for broke as i have least interest in that. But ____ i'm finding even that is cool.

How it compare to LOTRO. Hard to say. As i've only been so far along. I still dabble in LOTRO, this is deferentially better, just different. And LOTRO is still fun if your a fan.

I'm sure you'll like it. Lotta people call it a WOW clone, but improved. Never played so WOW don't care. This is SW that is the only interest i have in it AND KOTOR. Finally a MMO that i'm interested in besides LOTRO. One thing i can say is it's not SWG. some like that, and believe it or not some are upset it's not. (some people love that sandbox style and this is not it)

I'm having fun so far, i can only imagine as i get farther along it will get even better.

But seriously think of it as KOTOR (STORY) With an MMO element mixed in. If that interests you you'll love it.

(think i will get a razer naga for launch)
My only gripe... Lack of alien playable species at CC, and CC is not that deep compared to other MMO'S

what exactly do you mean by MMO elements...

and would you consider it an improved version of LOTRO, with star wars flavoring instead of Tolkien?

I ask, because LOTRO WAS a wow clone.it's why I quit. I already had max lvl chars on wow at the time :D

Shame about it not being like SWG, at Launch, SWG was amazing. Being a skill-based system was incredibly unique.

Wait... you can only play human at launch?
do you unlock alien races as you play, or what?

also, yes, definitely Get a Razer Naga, or a Razer Naga Epic ( wireless version.. which can be plugged in, and used as a wired version as well).
I've had one since Tax time, and love it to death.
