Poor bad guy. His helmet probably doesn't fit right and it makes him grumpy. No wonder he went all sith on Rey's ass.

After seeing the movie I still don't think that's a good sculpt. It makes him look older than he was in the film. Interestingly the helmet looks better in the figure. In the movie it looks like they just drawn some red lines over it, it looks so stupid.

Yes, I think they need to update the hair to be less Ray Romano. It never looked like that most of the time.

actually went ahead and bought a HT force awakens kylo when i got home for $200. i can see it going up in price

i agree.

i’m not here to pick apart the movies or the overal arc of the character but i will say, that although i understand the metaphor of his helmet on helmet off, i don’t necessarily agree with it. it shouldn’t have been that deep like when he was mocked by snoke for wearing it. the writers could have gotten their message across of his conflict without sacrificing the character of kylo ren in full garb

in fact i’d go as far to say that leaving his mask on for the entirety of the trilogy would have gave more of an impact on his story

(sorry if this is vague or might not make sense i’m trying to word it without giving anything away)

TFA Kylo is the definitive Kylo for me as well.

On a side note - after seeing the movie, I do think that the TLJ sculpt represents Kylo better overall compared to this one. Especially the hair, in any of the more... pivotal scenes with his helmet off, the TLJ sculpt looks closer IMO.

the weld marks actually looked better in the movie but that’s not saying much because i think they look terrible on this figure.

to each their own though at least all 3 are pretty much readily available to fit the need of any kylo fans

curious to see if the glow helps this at all

I don't remember the helmet glowing or pulsating at all in the movie (unless you count when it was being welded back together), but it would still be a pretty cool look on display, so I'm still considering this.

Although like Neb I'd love to have that other version of the character as well.

After the film this isn't a pre-order for me. That being said, I would be interested to see a Ben Solo as his last appearance.
