So I've been seeing a lot of painted versions of the stealth Iron Man, and I REALLY like them! My question is, how much would it cost to get a REALLY good paint job (red & gold) on this? And also, where would I get it painted? Just curious to see how difficult/expensive it is to do this... Thanks in advance!!! :)

I've been quoted anywhere from $300 to $450 for this job from various painters. Although that was a while ago. My suggestion is just to look at a few of the threads here and over on Statue Forum and just contact them directly.

its costing me £180 for a paint job,i have chosen a blue colour though...
something close to the comic cover.

Holy Flock. If you take it at the $700 pricetag mentioned add $300 to get it (retail....yeah right) you're looking at a $1000 project minimum. Since many of the red/gold are going for around $1200....maybe it'd be better to go that route....

Not exactly sure why you would want a pure white IM (maybe someone here understands the appeal??)....but hey he is only charging like $800 more then the standard SIM for his paint job. Plus he was kind enough to clear coat it....which makes a repaint a bit more challenging I believe (could be very very wrong).

Although.....if this IM were to fight in a blizzard he would definately have a leg up!

"Snow Buster Iron MAN....my side walk is ICY! PLEASE HELP!!!! :horror"

LOL...I wasn't far off...only because I've asked someone in the past..:monkey3

Dear Chris. You have missed the original release. Is it so hard to live with it? I think it is much harder to look at a repaint, knowing it is only a repaint. Get the original, that's my advice to you. A repaint is just a repaint.
