Not exactly sure why you would want a pure white IM (maybe someone here understands the appeal??)....but hey he is only charging like $800 more then the standard SIM for his paint job. Plus he was kind enough to clear coat it....which makes a repaint a bit more challenging I believe (could be very very wrong).

Although.....if this IM were to fight in a blizzard he would definately have a leg up!

After bidding on a SIM painted Red and Gold for $3000 on ebay, which I did not win, I went and took a chance on a group of guys in Signapore trying to make a name for themselves in the paint world for statues. For $2000, including shipping to Canada, I got a Stealth painted Red and Gold.

But people, here is the best part; not only did it work, but the paint job was spectacular, the BEST I have ever seen. When I look at it, it truly looks chrome and as the actual Red and Gold suit of IM.

Extremely happy with it!

What I think may be interesting is that the original paint app will be worth way more IMO. After a while if peeps keep repainting it it will surely go up in value. I hope my fellow freaks have the OG's!

I used a black auto primer first, then a gloss black laquer, then alclad chrome 2, then alclad clear blue and finally Tamiya clear gloss transparant blue then sealed it with future floor wax.

Yes it does!

i had this base specially made,it have LED lights installed so light come up through the cracks!

My custom man had real problems working out the wiring to keep the IM lights and the custom base lights to work together but he pulled it off in the end!
