Uh yeah sorta.....King says they are from the same universe....so same species......

He does not clarify if Robert Grey...the name the creature adopts in IT ends up banished into the world becoming Dandelo..

Certainly seems possible as a few characters from other books ended up in DT.

I like that King was building a universe way before it was popular to do so; before it even had the name. That's pretty cool.

Indeed. I guess King was a step ahead of everyone with the universe building.

Yeah its insane what he did with DT. I have to look at references sometimes to remember how I know a certain character from somewhere.....which story he was pulling from.....

He even goes so far as to name some products the same in certain books.......

So excited! I'm almost through re-reading the book.

I'm now wondering how they're going do the film now though? Because there is SO much stuff in the film that I don't see them just doing 1 film with the kids and 1 with the adults. I really feel like they'll do flashbacks in the 2nd movie to fill out the film since the adult story is so much smaller than the kids' story.

Yep, pretty much.

Here's King's most recent thoughts on it.

Intuitively, the Losers knew they had to be together again. The sexual act connected childhood and adulthood. It's another version of the glass tunnel that connects the children's library and the adult library. Times have changed since I wrote that scene and there is now more sensitivity to those issues.

Scene was a little out of left field. They'll probably just handle it like they did in the mini-series. Just have them all kiss Bev instead of full on ***.
