Where is Jake Lloyd he should play Anakin again lol.

If any of them die, they can just be CGd anyway...no big deal. That's going to be the norm by then anyway.

I just found out Bill Skarsgard (actor playing Pennywise) is 27 years old. That's pretty cool. Another neat coincidence.

I can not stand the guy playing old Bill...They're all so bad...but he's really bad.

you guys are forgettig, this **** is TV, it's outstanding that IT can hold its ground so well as a horror classic being TV.

Althought that sounds apologetic when there's really nothing wrong with it.

Scared the **** out of kids back then. But yea watching it now it's weird but I'm sure the updated movie will be better.

Carrie seemed to be hated while this is loved. Weird. Guess IT is the more popular character?

Carrie's remake was alright, if it was a combination of both versions, like 70% original 30% remake, it would be the perfect Carrie movie.

It's my favorite King story, followed by IT.

It, the mini-series, was bad even for its time. The part it got right was Curry as Pennywise and for the most part the kids. The adults were all miscast. I hated the second half of the series.

Dear lord smdh to the IT hate.

But yeah there were a couple miscast, there's no perfect adaptation of King's work, thr books are far superior as far as Carrie, IT and now Dark Tower go, and I hate saying "da buk was better"

I hold no "hate" for the miniseries (except for the old Bill actor :lol). It has a very special place in my heart that will never go away. I'm just cognizant enough to know what does and doesn't work (like the old Bill actor...:lol).

You're right nothing is perfect, but there is no way you can say the adult portion of the series was good. Even as a kid I knew it was bad.

As a kid you miss a lot.

And it was good, the way the characters' psychologiical seeds that were planted in the first part develop and play a part in the adult characters is consistent and nicely done, that's where a large part of the horror lies, not the spider, and one of King's trademarks that they got mostly right.

For a SK adaptation that is.

IT will be the most culturally impactful horror film of the past 20 years. When your kids think of horror, when they think of halloween, they'll think of IT. They'll watch IT in the middle of the night without your permission, they'll talk about IT at school. Bill Skarsgard will be remembered and praised for this role until he grows old the same way 80s kids remember freddy kruger.

History has been made. Say hello to the new face of horror.

I agree with what crows just said although I do question the longevity simply because we live in a very fast turnover society.

There's a good chance that by 6pm today It and Skarsgard will already be uncool to like lol.
