It's all hype, none of it lasts and it has the same chance of being remember as everything else released nowadays, no matter how good it is.

Blockbusters have no cultural impact anymore, last one was Nolan's Batman Trilogy.

Jigsaw is just as relevant in the horror community as ever. An icon

New pennywise will be iconic as well

Really? I don't see Jigsaw being anywhere near as relevant as say, Jason.

I see him used in memes sure, but I never see it in an actual comparison or valuation of other big killers.

Yeah Jigsaw is nowhere close to Jason/Freddy/Leatherface/Myers status. Just like no possessed girl will ever surpass Linda Blair/Regan.

I don't know if this Clown, regardless of box office, will be the cultural icon of Clowns because Tim Curry did it first and already occupies that title of king of monster Clowns.

Jigsaw is so relevant that universal keeps paying twisted pictures for the rights to bring him to their halloween event for like 3 different years already

Yeah but that's Paranormal Activity status, at best.

That series went on for way too long

Something I didn't notice in the movie was in the library scene the librarian is freaking smiling all creepy at the kid in the back.

Not really a spoiler.

Tried to watch it tonight. But tickets were all sold out.
Everybody really wants to watch this movie
