Same Sideshow blah-blah-blah. Not ever gonna happen. You really think Sideshow is gonna reinvest anything into a line that faltered every step of the way the first time out? The two most popular hobbits too a couple YEARS to sell through. Gandolf didnt do much bette, he hung around forever, and he was by far the best of the line. People complained about the cost of the Hobbits when they came put a couple years ago, sold now you could easily tack on another $50 and they will sell just as poorly and more than likely worse. And Gimli...well....it just isnt gonna happen.

Please move on people. Clinging so desperately to the hope for these is just sad and pathetic now.

fair enopugh king, but let me ask you this, hypotheticly, If lightning struck the same place 4 times, and if pigs started to fly, and if the macaroni gimli got sideshow to get back to, and finish the Lord of the rings line as 1/6th figures, making a Gimli, Merry, Pippin and a ringwrath or some other baddie,

I really think the only chance of this line actually getting resurrected is if after the Hobbit is released there is renewed interest in 1/6 figures.

Although, honestly by that point Sideshow probably won't be interested as they'll just be content making SW and Joe figures in 1/6.

Then we'll all have to pay $200 a pop for HT figures

I just dropped out of LOTR from SS... I have no faith in these lines and just can't do it.

the only thing I'll be interested in is a Samwise PF (but it must be perfect)

I just watched their video on the website of what they have planned for LOTR and it seems like they're only interested in the new maquette line unfortunately. The SW video was super long compared to the others and they actually had sections for 1/6 scale, PF, maquette everything sideshow offers...I was saddened afterwards

I use to like sideshow for doing figures from other licenses other than Star Wars. I like their Star Wars line, but sometimes wish they would move on to other things. I know Star wars and Marvel are big money makers for them, but it would be nice for them to finish other lines that they start. Hot Toys is just as bad when it comes to finishing the main characters in their lines. Oh well, the mighty dollar speaks loudly.

Dude, we all know why that is. There is like 10 valid reasons why they didnt sell all of which are SS's fault

Apparently they also said that if someone gets Frodo and Sam tattooed on their ass cheeks, they will continue the line, any takers??
