you're a collecting machine

Since the payment from the book I'm co-author on finally arrived I went for a few things indeed. But I have to take into consideration the upcoming medical bills for the examinations I'll have to do in September or so. And that will reduce my collecting budget drastically. So now is the time ;)

Anyway back on Stormie PF: is anyone of you guys acquiring more than one to have a pair flanking Vader?

What book, jkno?
(congrats, btw!)

Still on the fence, myself. I initially wanted 2, but not sure how it would look with the same arm pose. Waiting it out for now.

I am out on the double troopers..just one. The non posability would look really stupid together.

I happen to think 2 Stormtroopers flanking the Vader PF would look pretty awesome. They're all trained to be uniformed in everything they do anyway so I don't see the problem with 2 together

More pics of the Stormie PF, very cool but still inaccurate:

ditto. IMO, accuracy on the stormie helmet isn't as hard as achieving compared to a regular face, why can't they do it right, esp prior to releasing a much awaited character...

Unfortunately because SS sticks with their "artistic interpretation" whatever that means... :( I know some don't see any difference (or don't want to see), telling we talk about 1:4 and not 1:1 etc., but still look at the pic below (eFX is Hero the same with the PF):

The stormie that is positioned higher than the other looks like they couldn't get his head on correctly or something. Makes it look like he has a giraffe neck. :lol

Although there are certain aspects of this pf that can be improved
I find it very hard to resist this piece. It's still a definate purchase
for me.

Jkno, agreed the front of the helmet is quite large, I also think that
the eye lensess look a tad small..
