I heard on the radio that hurricane Harvey is the biggest natural disaster in US history. Is it really? Bigger than Katrina or the SF earthquake? 3,000+ people died in the earthquake and 80% of the city destroyed.

It certainly appears so and they got way more water than Katrina and Sandy. They got 50 inches of water in many places with a million displaced. At least as far as I know, it's being handled better than the last few disasters. Katrina and Sandy were completely bungled. Hopefully there will be no nonsense blocking federal aid.

And, we already got Irma coming so I'm sure that will further complicate things.

I've heard they don't expect Irma to be too bad. Hopefully not.

Anyway, I guess they look at disasters in a monetary sense rather than in death toll.

Are there such a thing as male groupie? Shirley Mansion think not much. Those head banger probably bang a tons of 'em females one, back in the days.

Who the heck would charge their credit card, for $1.50, to start the air pump? To inflate their tires of course. Weird how they have a CC swipe attached to the air pump; out in the open.

There are so many people who use their debit card for everything, and there are some businesses that pay their employees on a debit card. Japan has CC swipes on everything.

Wonder if the USPS trying to rip or overcharge Mr. Green. She said the system is behaving oddly. It doesn't request a dimension but shows up as priority mail. The price seem reasonable for a heavy and large package, anyway. Guess economy shipping isn't far off, for a large and heavy package. But this is like the 3rd time it happen to Mr. Green. They say priority is the same as economy shipping for some zip code.
Every since Wells Fargo scandal, it's harder to trust businesses; or people for that matter.

That's common. Happens to me once in awhile. Sometimes it's off just a penny or two or the same thing.

Not common to the woman at USPS. She actually said it rarely happen. And she have been working there for decades. No matter, just curious.

Is it ok to give the seller a negative feedback if he post track #(expedited shipping) with no info? Like the info started to popup 1 week + 2 days later, on that track #. He claimed the item was sent out the same day but USPS receive the item 1 week + 2 days later. And of course the item is already past the estimated delivery. By the time it arrive, more likely it will be like 1 week + 3 or 4 days, for expedited shipping. This item came from Maryland and is due to NJ; such a short distance.

Mr. Green is incline to give him a negative feedback. With only 15 feedback to his account, this negative feedback should do a nice damage, lol.

Since you got the item, I'd just low star his shipping if anything. Or at least mention it in the comments section.
