Now that they have found the virus, would they be able to find a cure? If not, at least a treatment. :dunno

I am starting to hate my job. The job market is tight, so I feel like I have to hang onto it. We might also go under in a year or two, in which case I don't want to jump ship before being offered a substantial payout.

Should I do administrative work right now or assemble my Breaking Bad figures?

Seems to be the way this side of the world... we avoided a recession but just about every part of the economy has slowed big time. I talk to a lot of different people and ask about opportunities in their field, and it's rarely up beat.

Good luck with the interview!

I'm not sure how stupid this question is...

Do luxuries inflate at a higher rate than necessities? I mean, if essential commodities like food, clothing, shelter rise in price, will the reduction in disposable income cause non-essential goods to sell at a significantly slower pace, hence a commensurately higher price?

i am drunk. i am celebrating for even getting a job interview. this time of the year. this part of the world.

i find myself gambling financial security...quitting my job. for something _____ i cant even expalin.

here's the kicker stupid question...

I think Australia is becoming more like the US, only it's going a bit slower. Lack of jobs, bloated welfare system, immigration. At least from what I'm taking from the postings from Aussies on my Facebook page.

Australia got lazy basically. A once-in-a-generation resources boom was pissed up the wall by a visionless conservative government and an incompetent progressive one. Nobody planned for what the economy would look like when the Chinese stopped gobbling up our iron ore and coal.

Now we have a visionless, incompetent conservative government :yess:
