I'm not sure how stupid this question is...

Do luxuries inflate at a higher rate than necessities? I mean, if essential commodities like food, clothing, shelter rise in price, will the reduction in disposable income cause non-essential goods to sell at a significantly slower pace, hence a commensurately higher price?

If I know anything about money - and I don't - my guess would be that the percentage of a high-salary income allocated to essential commodities would be minimal. As well, I'd say that those for whom meeting the essential needs for daily living is made less or more difficult subject to inflationary pressure, their access to luxury goods would be unchanged at zero to negligible. Oh how I long for the day when I can shout across the dining table to my dinner companion 20 feet away, "10 mill for a bare-bones superyacht... I think I'm being priced out of this hobby"

i am drunk. i am celebrating for even getting a job interview. this time of the year. this part of the world.

i find myself gambling financial security...quitting my job. for something _____ i cant even expalin.

here's the kicker stupid question...
