I think the film will be better but I'm not sure how much that's saying. DC is zero out of two in my book at the moment and I don't think this will be the film to sway me. I think it looks like it could be interesting but I don't think it looks great by any means.

I'm expecting a solid 7/10. Nothing amazing, but entertaining without the nonsense and utter contempt of BVS.

Should be pointed out that the 2nd unit director (stunts) for this movie is the same as Mad Max: Fury Road...

I know right?!?

One thing I will say for SS is that the cast seemed to have bonded in a unique way – in fact I can only really liken it to how the main cast of Lord of the Rings gelled.
Tattooing each other, Margot Robbie wanting to develop Harley further, the whole cast wanting to return for a sequel, and now Leto saying it's the most fun he's had on a movie set. Sure this is not a guarantee of quality for the movie, but it does seem that something there was something special about the filming of Suicide Squad. I do fully expect a Disney smear campaign to start around July though.

I only worked on second unit but it's my favourite set I've ever worked on, great group of people. Not sure if being a big Batman fan had any influence over that or not, though... hahaha

I didn't love BvS but I still think this could be a good movie. It's a different team making this movie and the trailers are intriguing. We shouldn't pre-judge this movie.

I thought BVS sucked, but pretty much all of the things I hated about it are hallmarks of Zack Snyder's body of work. So him not being involved in Suicide Squad automatically makes me think it'll be much better.

Those pictures of Joker's props & costume actually make me more excited for the movie. So much attention to detail... :thud:

Not sure how joker will use it in the movie or how much we'll actually see it, but I kinda hope HT Joker comes with that straight razor.

Harley is about the only character I'm slightly interested in getting. I'll have to be really sold by Robbie though because despite her being hot I'm not the biggest fan of the look they went with for her. She just looks like a generic punk chick (and yes I'm aware she's had a similar look in the comics).
