..my meagre attempts to put her into a photo of Summer. The angle isn't quite right, and I had to flip the photo left to right to get her new face in, so it's a little off, but you get the idea! :D

Man....that does look fantastic.....I don't even watch this show and I want one. :lol

Thank you, my friend..... just a warm up though. :D

If you want to see some more female sculpts of mine look up the 12" Xena lines from Toy Biz in the 1990's. I did all the heads and accessories. Hercules, too. The manufacturing sucked but you can see my work underneath it if you try hard! Man, I watched a lot of Xena.....

I'll have to see if I can dig up any photos of these.

Regardless, I'll have Sarah Jane Smith from Doctor Who and Milla Jovovich to show shortly as well.

Those were your sculpts in the Xena 12" line? Wow! I used to have Xena and Gabrielle. I loved the head sculpts, but the necks were too long. I wish I still had them. Great work on them Chris. :D I enjoyed having them for a little while.

Yep, those were mine. I was responsible for everything from the chin up! So I disavow responsibility for the long necks :D... Seriously, they would call out dimensions that we had to follow. I always hated the bodies they used. And they never got the vinyl shrink correct. Just look at how awful my Blues Brothers 2000 figures turned out. Heads WAY too big. But I'm glad you enjoyed them, anyway. :)

Ah, well. That's what makes this so much fun. We get to control the size and quality so it turns out the way we want it!! :banana

Just got my bald Summer head, and though it will be several weeks before I have any customizing time, I wanted to say how exceptional it is. Thanks, Chris. My C Howes Museum is beginning to expand!

I'm gratified you like it, my friend. Got a package in the mail myself. :D
When you do have time, I'd love to see what you do with her.

A museum, eh? I can see it now! Gallery after gallery of disembodied heads seemingly floating in space in glass cases, each illuminated with it's own spot light, an elderly security guard snoozing on his stool in the corner, groups of bored elementary school children on field trips... glorious! It will be my eventual legacy. Are you shooting for the job of curator? :D It's all yours if you want it. I'm afraid it doesn't pay particularly well....:lol

Thank you Chris C. Superb job, as usual! :D

OK guys, after much work and rework, finally, here are a few photos of River.

Now, keep in mind I need to clean this up and finish refining the texture, but this is the basic hair style I finally settled on. River has very unusual hair that was quite challenging to capture. It's almost stringy. I can see why they went that direction, it makes her more vulnerable and emphasizes her "damaged" nature.

Anyway, ignore the crumbs of wax and squint while you look at these! :naughty
