this is what i LOVE about amazon free shipping. i placed the order last night and was informed the game would be shipped may 28. however, this morning i already received the shipment notice and it should arrive mid-week (or approximately when the game comes out at stores).

I think you may have read that wrong. Mine said the 28th too but it said estimated delivery date, May 28th...ship date is always the release date on Amazon if you preorder.

i looked back at my conformation e-mail and it said a "shipping estimate" of may 28. i am thinking you are right with your assumption, but i think using the term "estimated arrival date" would be better for the delivery date estimate than "shipping estimate."

The Graphics aren't bad, you're exaggerating like most who write off the Wii. Sometimes, it ain't important. And just because it doesn't have technically impressive graphics that are comparable to the HD consoles, the game automatically has bad graphics? without mention to the artistic designs? That in itself makes your comment troll worthy and enough to write off. You do sound like a 12 year old. Well maybe not because the last I checked the first Mario Galaxy sold 9 million copies worldwide, and yeah some of those numbers are probably comprised of 12 year olds who appreciate good games. And then there are 12 year olds like you.

I fail to see how the graphics of this game are geared for any age level. Usually age level is something stuck to situations or imagery.

In any event, Mario is ageless as it is timeless. If somebody wants to miss out on what is being called one of the best games ever made because of petty fanboyism, that's their problem not mine.

12 year olds do play Mario, but so do 18 year olds and 27 year olds, and dads play with their sons. Nothing is more mature than recognizing that not every game has to be a mature blood fest, with big breasted women, and violence to the brim. Being able to recognize a great game regardless of its tone is a sign of real maturity.

Thus real men play Mario.

Elitist has nothing to do with it. I have a Wii and have no problem saying their graphics are sub par for what consoles can do today. That said, I haven't touched it for about a year and a half, but still look at reviews for games that come out on it. Wife uses it for the Fit and such games.
